Solved! Red Has creates a .conf file for each virtual domain and I was lookin' only the "master" .conf file, and there was an Allowoverride parameter.

It means that Drupal's .htaccess is setting the ErrorDocument (specifically, ErrorDocument 404 /index.php) but your webhost's apache configuration does not allow you to override what page to bring up for 404's.
I google'd and still can't solve the problem.
