I do not understand. Are you in the Views module? Or are you in the Events ("all events"?) module. I know nothing about the Events module.

If you are in Views, there should be a title at the top of the page that says, "Edit view <the title of your view>." On the left hand side of the page you should see

"Defaults" and perhaps "Block" "Page"

In the middle of the page should be many configurable settings.

Is that where you are?
