I've never seen that. Do you have updated versions of Drupal, Reference and Views3? You might have had a relationship, too, that was removed. That's really messes with Views, too.

In drupal 7, I'm trying to create a very simple view with a contextual filter using a node reference field. When I try to select 'apply', I get the error: An illegal choice has been detected. Please contact the site administrator.
This happens without any options selected like: When filter value is not in the URL. If I select "remove" it does not remove the contextual filter. I've tried the same on several different views. They all fail on the contextual filter.
Has anyone else seen the same thing?
