[support] How to set up an image gallery in drupal 7

I am new to drupal 7

How to insert an image gallery in drupal 7?

Please explain the whole procedure from which modules to install, how to upload the images, how to setup content type and how to insert the gallery in drupal 7 (please give details so other newbies can learn from this).

PS: I am using the linux pan newsreader for several other mailing lists which I find more easy to use, I check pan several times a day and learn a lot :-)
