If you don't want a title for any of the pages, just delete the print $title from the node.tpl.php in your theme directory. If you need more sophisticated behavior, try this link: http://drupal.org/node/138910

A title made of spaces doesn't work. A title made of just a dot "." does work. That's the best option so far, but I don't like it. You still see an ugly dot that doesn't belong.
