Now, that should definitly work. Can you look at the include_path that your Apache/PHP install uses?
From phpinfo:
include_path /usr/share/pear /usr/share/pear
what are the exact errors that you get if you don't hardcode paths in your modules?
Ok, I've tried three new modules with no errors. I'm wondering if replacing all my files with the 4.7.3 files fixed that issue.
Ah, well. At least that's working now!
