I'm working on a website that will hopefully be utilizing organic groups og forum and og notifications to build a community between my company and our clients. I'm having some issues getting the exact functionality i'm looking for and would appreciate some resources or information if you have it to share. I have organic groups/forum/notifications setup and running but i'm having issues getting notifications to work as I need. what I'm looking for is private groups that members get auto subscribed to when they join and notifications are sent as follows
1. When new content is created for the group I would like the users to be notified which seems to be working properly. 2. When users post in the forum or reply to a post I'd like for notifications to be sent based on users preference. ( immediately or daily or weekly). should work with the addition of OG subscriptions but will happily take any other suggestions on setting this up 3. When users are invited to the group both user and group admin(s) get a notification, which is where I fall apart. Reading notifications it appears that this should be working, but neither user or admin get a message when a group admin adds someone to the group.
scouring the web over the past few days has returned basically nothing in they way of setting up notifications with OG which leads me to believe this is either an obscure request or something really simple I'm overlooking.
If you can point me in the right direction I'd be truly grateful.
