Hi, my D5 installation at a hosting provider couldn't send emails. in logfile is everything okay.
Somebody has hints for me ?
You need to look at the log files. You can try looking at php errors in ?q=admin/logs/watchdog but if that isn't enough you'll need the apache log files.
I read the Drupal logfiles AND some of the logfiles from the apache-webserver.
So there wasn't a clue?
No, nothing.
Probel is, that this site is running by a Webhoster and i haven't access to ALL logfiles.
I understand that.
My other Drupal installations are on my Server and they could send a email.
Open a ticket with your host provider. It sounds like the email server settings aren't correct.
I think too, that this is a problem by my webhosting-provider. My D5 installation on MY root-server works fine WITH email :)
