Was having problem in creating DATABASE. But now manages to create the database.

I'm following the drupal .txt files only. "4.0 Run the install script." in this step it's written *To run the install script, point your browser to the base URL of your **website (e.g., http://www.example.com).*
But since I'm doing installation on my locahost laptop, i don't have any website. I thought by using some URL in locahost the installtion for default DRUPAL will start but not getting how to do that.
have you tried: "localhost" as url?
localhost doesn't work. but 127.0.0.1 works and I get Apache Fedora test page. locahost should work as it equals to 127.0.0.1
or "localhost/install.php" as URL?
This also not working.
