So, my homepage was displaying the full posts in the left panel instead of the teaser, which I wanted. It was pulling from a view called, features.
I actually had to go into the settings for the individual content type "company profile" to change the settings. At the bottom of a long list were the on off switches for the teaser, and I had them all set to on.
Now only two are on, and two display for each post on the homepage and the view. Thanks for everyones help who emailed!
