[support] Teaser begin tag?

Hi there, is there a way to tag <!--break--> the begin and end of the teaser?

I publish some press releases, where the form is that you start with a media contact, and date, which is not very suitable for a teaser. So I'd like to tag the teaser start and end somewhere in the first paragraph.

Is there such a way or do I have to resort to the nodeteaser module, which I only need for this group of pages?
