A "support request" isn't a "bug report". They are both handled by the issue queue. If you have a question on use of a particular module the place to ask first is the issue queue of the module. It is good practice to use the search form to see if the question/issue has occurred already.
And then if you are unable to get a response from the module issue queue, post your question here. You'll probably get yelled at by the list police for not going to the issue queue first, even though you already have (which actually happened recently), but hey, you might get an answer, too.
