Yes, I saw both of these. I did NOT see, however, that they support repeating events, which is basically what I need--each 'radio show' repeats weekly.

I've done something like that on NHPR.org (it shows what is currently on the radio based on a pipe-delimited set of files that matches their current broadcasting schedule). However, it's not a module.

That is basically what I need, but mine can be predefined, i.e. hardcoded even--our weekly schedule doesn't generally change, save the occasional special event.

no, drupal has its own forum module in core.
