Hi all,
I'm using Ubercart and I have three types of products, each with their own flat rate shipping quote rules:
1. base price of 5, product rate of 0 2. base price of 0, product rate of 0 3. base price of 0, product rate of 1
The difficulty is that if one order has products from different types, then the shipping is cumulative. For example, if I order two products from each category, the total would be 7. I can set up the individual shipping methods fine, I just don't know how to tell Ubercart to add the results together to form the shipping total.
I imagine I could inelegantly hack something together that would work. Perhaps it'd work if I made two shipping methods, one with a base price of 0, the other with 5. Then I give each product its appropriate product rate on the product edit form (the same for both shipping methods) and use conditional actions to make sure the appropriate shipping method is used. But seems a bit naff imho.
Seeing as Ubercart has such a nice way of representing each of these shipping methods individually, it'd be great to just tell it to sum them up. If that's possible :)
