Ok Thanks. That was the problem, on windows I was using IP as url. One host file modification and all was fine

This sounds like an issue where you have $cookie_domain set in settings.php but are accessing the site via a different domain. Make sure that cookie domain is set correctly and that you are using the exact same domain to access it via Windows.
