[support] Selecting a view with a calendar D6

hi i am trying to use the Calendar module in Drupal 6 to select the day that will be the argument for a view. Both calendar and view should be in the same block, resulting in a top placed calendar where i can choose a day that will select among a specific content type and display a view underneath the calendar. The default Calendar view does this but will show the relative content of the content type , not the view. On the other hand i can create a view styled as a calendar which will show as a block view, but then i don t know how to get a calendar where to choose the days from. Any help appreciated Simone
