Seems to me Cygwin is a rather large install if all one wants is ssh capability.
Kitty is an option too. When I looked, it came in a zip file, there was no installer.
After you have accessed servers, go to the drupal root and then run to commands specified above.
Executing Drush on Windows is also possible with the likes of MSYS or Cygwin.
