Hi Anthony Absolutely no issue with the code below. I just pasted the code in my page.tpl file and I get proper output (do not get " ; ?> ).
Probably you need to look 1. either any special characters are there , may be you can delete that block of code and type fresh 2. if any previous code "" are not completed properly
