Hi

I just posted to this list and fairly quickly got what I can only conclude to be spam email back. The email in it's entirety is included below - the only changes I've made are to obscure or delete anything relating to my email address or my host.

As the email I received below doesn't appear on the archive for today (yet - but my email in response to Jerome's email has) I can only conclude the spammer has harvested this from the themes mailing list and therefore wonder if the spammer is simply watching the mailing list archives for people to spam today? Will he pick up his own email address and spam himself now, I wonder?

I understand the mail archives are publicly viewable with our email addresses on any mail we send to the list. I'd rather have our emails not shown on the list if it's just a target for more Chinese spam to arrive in my mail box.

Alternatively I suppose we just stop using the list for any meaningful conversation?
