I take this as a chance to remind myself and everyone else:

Drupal (well, CMS in general) replaced the webmaster. And the Drupal
community works *very hard* on allowing Drupal to replace the site builder.

True, this won't happen tomorrow and we still have a lot of issues to solve.
But this tidbit of a story is a clear sign for us slowly achieving the goal.

True, this little story does not mention whether the "article" was about
setting up a blog using the core Blog module or CCK and Views. But even if
it was about Blog module, then you can achieve the same in 20 minutes using
CCK and Views.

The goal is to close the gap between site builder know-how and site
administrator/client/"end-user" knowledge. Since we speak of "know-how"
only, it means the functionality is already there. Closing this gap boils
down to providing the right user interface, terminology, and contextual help
(where required).

So better be prepared.

However, not tomorrow. And even when the right UI/UX is in place, you will
still be able to charge your 3 hours, because a blog still needs to be
properly styled. (Resolving that to some extent will be the next step.)
