[consulting] Suggestion for Dries and Moderators: New PoliticsList

  I think a lot of these are topics are coming up because people are 
unsure in these difficult economic times.
Perhaps rather than arguing one theoretical system versus another, we 
could discuss some tools to help small businesses succeed now.

I've had my own business for almost 10 years now, and I've been part of 
start-ups since the early 90s. I'm sure there are others that have a lot 
of experience as well.

Finding business and convincing the customer that they're getting a 
great value from you is something that is common from Chinese Communists 
to American Capitalist.  These are all skills that will help you now, 
and even more than in the future.

Learning how to put value, differentiation, perceived value and sales 
skills to work will help you get through the current business 
environment more than anything else. As they say in marketing 101, you 
don't sell 1/4" drill bits, you sell 1/4" holes.
