I have the same problem, using Windows XP, IE. I don't have edit permissions, so can't fix.

which makes it difficult to read (SuSE Linux 9.3 + Konqueror, Firefox;
Win2K + Firefox)
With Win2K+IE6.0 the side panels are also missing
