OK, you are know the owner of this project, and hence have cvs access
to it.

My personal position is that if you provide an upgrade path, it would
be nice and a good service to the users. It is not required though given
that it is formally abandoned (for leech module by the same user).

Put a notice on the project that this module is not to be used, will
be killed soon, upgrade path, ...etc.
