[drupal-docs] Explaining drupal to artists

I guess my goal was to try and pick those features
which would be most useful for the target audience and
develop documentation trying to explain it to them,
and hopefully attract them that way. I thought the
usefulness of the features to the target audience was
obvious, but that seems to be false. For someone in
the target audience the features are beneficial,
however, you guys are right - I need to "tease" the
target audience a bit more and answer their needs
directly, so there is no question who is targeted and
what needs Drupal satisfies for them or problems it
solves for them. In other words, make it work for the
target audience instead of hoping it works for them.
I have already begun contacting those sites that use
drupal for artistic endeavors and engaging in
discussions about what the community needs are. I
think another problem is that it's hard to promise
features and solutions if code is still buggy, which
seems to be a general marketing problem for drupal
(albeit temporary, as things get fixed).
thanks,
Farsheed
