Hi, I think I can answer your first question, but unfortunately not the second. I have just set up a site using i18n, and the statistics seem correct - it keeps correct tabs on the number of reads for each different language. Hi Jason, Thanks for that info. Not sure how to check that permission you are talking about, but I have done the next best thing that I could think of. I created a file in the root directory of the site, called test.html which just performs a bunch of random prints on the screen, and called it by means of http://www.mydomain.com/test.html and was able to get the expected result. Doesn't this mean that the permissions are correct? Fatal Error

Hi, I have just uploaded a site and am getting this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function block_list() in C:\Domains\amajubaskool.co.za\wwwroot\includes\theme.inc on line 935 I have done a one-on-one compare of all the files on my local machine with the files on the server, they are identical. On the local machine it works perfectly, the site displays, and on the server, I get that error. I rule out that it is a database error, because if it was, the error message would be different, wouldn't you agree? I would get a message that say "Could not connect to the database. Currently the server is .... and the username is ....". Am I right? theme.inc makes a call to block_list() which it says it can not find. blocks.module is in the modules folder as it should be and it does contain the function block_list() - I have checked that. As I said, the number of files as well as their respective file sizes and modification dates are all the same on the local machine and the server. I am using Drupal 4.7.3 with a theme based on BlueMarine, on IIS (I think version 6) with PHP5 and MySQL 4. What else can cause this problem? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Kobus

Hi Jody, There may be easier ways, see if there are different responses to your request than mine, but this is the first thought I had: In your blocks admin, you can set the that the "Navigation" block only shows when the PHP code evaluates to true. Showing menu items based on user categories

I am trying to learn Drupal. One thing I have not discoverd how to do is to hide menu items for users not belonging to certain categories. Is that possible at all? Is there any kind of workaround?

Right Sidebar appearing in Content block

Monday morning blues, This morning the complete right sidebar appears in a content block that appears at the last position of content in the middle of the page. If I change that content block to appear elsewhere such as on right sidebar or on the footer, the complete right sidebar (with all the blocks within it) is restored. If I restore the position of the last block to the bottom of the site's content, the complete right sidebar is again encapsulated in that block below the page content. This is not a faulty CSS or introduced HTML code issue, everything renders perfectly the complete right sidebar area just appears in the wrong place! This site has been running since 01/2006 with the present configuration without this happening. This is Drupal 4.7.3, PHP 5, MySQL 4.1. The theme is a stripped-down Fancy Theme (without SIFR) and it uses PHP-TEMPLATE I searched Drupal.org without success. server error 500

Hi, I'm new with drupal. When i install i wasn't able to run it due to this error: Server error! The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there was an error in a CGI script. If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster. Error 500 Any help is very much appreciated. Weird bug?

I searched Drupal and could not find anything on this. I set a site to run "offline" but now I cannot login. I've tried URL/user/login?destination=login and URL/login to no avail. Urgh! / liza sabater www.culturekitchen.com
