i have events and events_repeat module installed, but events_repeat doesn't seem to correctly enter events that are same day of week over time. i am entering all the appropriate settings but it shows up on the calendar wrong -- too many events and not on the days specified. thanks for your help will

Allowing users to select from huge lists of towns/cities in Profile

I would like to allow my users, on signing up, to be able to select their town and state from a large db of date I have. For example, a user select United States and is then given another drop down with States, chooses Florida and then can select towns in a third drop down list. Alternatively, is there another user-friendly way of allowing users to choose from 100 countries and all the towns and states within them, without resorting to free text fields, which I want to avoid. nodelist with bookreview module don't work

I'm using bookreview <http://drupal.org/project/bookreview> module to set up a bookshop site, I would now use nodelist <http://drupal.org/project/nodelist> to have a content list by category but in admin/settings/nodelist, while selecting "Book review" node content type, on node/list I can't see anything while, using "Page" node content type I can see all pages I created. any idea? thank you

Make Create Content redirect to login/register for anonymous users

I don't want anonymous users to be able to post but I want them to see that you can create content and when they click the link I want it to redirect to the login/register page. But Drupal itself removes links that anonymous users can't access automatically. How can I make it show menu items even if the anonymous users can't access them?

Have a look in your database and see if you have any nodes with a create date in the future. It's an odd one that sometimes crops up that's got me twice in the past: mysql: SELECT nid FROM node WHERE created > UNIX_TIMESTAMP(NOW()); Then check to see if one of these nodes as hit "node_cron_last_nid" variable. SELECT value FROM variable WHERE name="node_cron_last_nid"; If you get a matching nid then that's your problem. I fixed it by making future nodes past nodes, removing the variable "node_cron_last_nid" and completely re-indexing. I then told our inputers don't put future dates into nodes! Worth a try. Let us know if that's successful or not. --Andy (AjK)

hi all so our search does not find any more recent nodes. it is as if the search indexing is not working. i have manually re-indexed on the settings page for search module and still no luck. ideas? - will

cron job crashing server, and how many users is too many?

I have a Drupal cron job (4.7) that crashes the web server--just hangs but never returns a specific error message; if I let it run, it just churns. I've let it go for five minutes before finally shutting it down. Its hanging brings down the whole shooting match. The logs tell me only that a segmentation fault occurred. Very possibly related, whenever I try to do any administration related to the user table--for instance, call up the troll module admin pages--the site hangs similarly. This is a busy site with nearly 7500 registered users in the table. How many users are too many users? I experience a similar but not nearly as dire slowdown on another site on the same box with more than 5500 registered users; calling up admin pages with users on it takes a bit but does complete, and its cron job completes in maybe 10 seconds. I just recently upgraded both sites to 4.7.x from 4.6. Anything anyone could tell me would be useful. Thanks. Timeline Module - Page Creation

Hello, I'm running a site with drupal 5 and the latest version of tinyMCE. When a user creates content, the format is blank. Is there any way to change the default setting of this to be paragraph? - jody Sent using the Microsoft Entourage 2004 for Mac Test Drive.
