PHP block code works fine on its own, not within drupal

I have put together this drop down code to drill down from country > state > town. As a lone php page, it works fine, but when I put it in block on a drupal page, the countries load, but when I select, say, Canada, the page refreshes as it should but the United States is always there, not Canada. Possibly it's a problem relating to the javascript, the self.location maybe. Add a redirect to every outgoing link to a certain domain?

Is there a way to add a redirect to every outgoing link to a certain domain. So every link to domain x.com with be: redirect.com/?x.com And if possible I'd like to add something after the x.com link. So the link would be: redirect.com/?x.com&something Thanks & Bye! /Mattias

Setting up cron job for user role updates

Here is my wish: to run a cron job a few times a day to update all Authenticated Users to Full Members once they have posted five comments/forum posts. My plan is to have all comments posted by Authenticated Users moderated but move users up to the Full Members role I will create to cut down on moderation work. How would I go about doing this? Is there any documentation on drupal.org about setting up cron jobs? There don't seem to be any modules to allow this. Userpoints exists but isn't free. A simple cron job seems to be the easiest solution all round. Has anyone else put something like this in place? Neil

Nodevote display in Contemplate module

Hello, I use the nodevote.module on a CCK content type. That works fine. Now I have started to use Contemplate.module to build a custom teaser and body view for this CCK content type and this is where I need help to display the nodevote functionality. In my template build area of Contemplate, I can see the following variables from nodevote.module for both teaser and body view: $nodevote (object) $nodevote->vote_display (integer) 1 $nodevote->vote_do (integer) 1 Since I am not familiar with Php, I don't know how to embed them into the code. How do I integrate these variables into my teaser and body code? Installation: Drupal 4.7.6 Help VERY much appreciated. Bests, Laura.

More effective use of auto-complete in Profile

Is there a way of populating the profile_values table in the drupal DB before opening your site to the public? I want the auto-complete to work and provide cities which I have already put into the database. At the moment, they only include cities that existing members have already entered. Also, is there a way of providing extra information in the dropdown like you get on answers.com? If someone types "San Fr" I would like something similar to "San Francisco (California)" to appear. Is that possible? Neil

Cannot Enable/Disable Modules

For some reason I cannot enable a new module or disable an existing module. When I check them off/on then hit save configuration the page reloads and the module status remains the same. Hi! I am searching for the control for log in. I want the users of my web site to create their own password and log in.(Create their own account) As it is now the users of my web site has to ask me for password and I have to create an account for them. This is not drupal 5, but the previous version. Gina

Setting menu's to expanded doesn't work

Hello, I've got a site running Drupal 5.1, and I have a few menus that I'd like to be expanded. I go into Administer - Site Building - Menus, and set the menus I'd like to be expanded. But, when I view the areas of my site where those menus are, they don't show as being expanded. Any ideas why it might be doing this? - jody
