Drupal Credits

I'm about to launch a Drupal site that is a compilation of custom modules and themes the company that contracted me would like to provide as a service to other companies. In the footer of the site they would like to place something similar to "powered by such and such" with a link to their parent website where they can sell additional services. I mentioned to them that the wording should be more along the lines of "powered by such and such on Drupal" or something similar. They are perfectly fine with that but now we are curious what would be the correct way of referring to Drupal so that we are in line with the GPL. I'd be interested to know if there are any guidelines or thoughts out there that should be taken into consideration before this product is finalized. User unpublished content list

Including text files in nodes.

I am looking for a way to include a text file, test.txt, into a node on creation. I have tried choosing Input Format as PHP and I put: <? include("test.txt"); ?> and got a large error: a.. warning: Unknown(test.txt): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/ntc69/public_html/includes/common.inc(1342) : eval()'d code on line 1. a.. warning: Unknown(test.txt): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/ntc69/public_html/includes/common.inc(1342) : eval()'d code on line 1. a.. warning: Unknown(test.txt): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/ntc69/public_html/includes/common.inc(1342) : eval()'d code on line 1. tools to monitor database errors

Hi- I would like to know when tables in the db stop responding, such as (table "watchdog"/ "cache"/ "sessions"); does any one know of tools that monitor error_logs and would notify you via email? All suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! If you want to help test, join #drupal and find killes (and tread lightly in #drupal). This is just testing before the final move and the exact date of the final move depends on testing. Testing is a point where anyone can help because it is useful to have several folks "poking" the site to see if anything is broken. If you want to help and have more money than time the Drupal association is accepting donations. While the donations may be used for a variety of things, my understanding is that in the near term a large focus of the association (and the funds) is to make sure that our infrastructure is as fast as our great community deserves! http://association.drupal.org/donate There are other ways to help speed up Drupal.org like providing code to improve the performance of Drupal itself, but the two I mention above are accessible to a wide range of folks. Empty 'container' taxonomies

Hi Content in my Drupal 5.1 site is organized under two major 'container' taxonomies (Articles and Releases). Each of them contains several taxonomies (Hardware, Software, Music... and so on) and the stories are assigned to one or more of them. I am using the taxonomy_context module for the index of vocabularies. My problem is that links to the two top 'container' taxonomies are displaying a list of the taxonomies under them, but I need to display a list of the actual stories instead, so clicking on Articles displays stories under Articles/Hardware **and** under Articles/Software **and** Articles/Music... I know that a possible solution is to assign each story both to its 2nd-level taxonomy **and** to its 'container' taxonomy. The problem is that I have more than 2,000 nodes in the site (imported from the previous version in PostNuke) and I can't go through all of them making the required changes. What is the best way to make 'top' taxonomies display **the content**, not the names, of all taxonomies under them? Themes disappearing when somebody adds a node

We just upgraded from 4.7.6 to 5.1. Now, whenever somebody adds a node (I've seen it with both blogs and a CCK content type), it generates an error message like this: Duplicate entry 'themes/alpha/page.tpl.php' for key 1 query: INSERT INTO system (name, description, type, filename, status, throttle, bootstrap) VALUES ('alpha', 'themes/engines/phptemplate/phptemplate.engine', 'theme', 'themes/alpha/page.tpl.php', 0, 0, 0) in /export/home/httpd/htdocs/community/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 172. And it changes the status of the theme to unselected. And before you know it, all our themes are unselected. We originally had a CCK content type with the same name as a module, but the behavior continued even after I renamed the content-type to something that didn't conflict. Any suggestions gratefully appreciated! New to the list with a module question

Hi, My name is Krister Ekstrom and i live in Sweden. I'm trying my best to set up a drupal site for me and help a friend set up her site. I'm new to Drupal and to the list so please pardon me if this question has been asked before, but as you all know you get the role of "authenticated user" assigned to you as soon as you become registered on the site. This role comes with the system and as i understand it, the only thing you can edit with this role are the permissions, not the name, for example. My question is, is there a module for Drupal v5.x that lets me as admin assign another role than "authenticated user" to users when they sign up? I know there was such a module called "UserAutoRole" or something like that for v4.x but does there exist such a module for v5.x and if not, is there a way for a non-programmer to solve this problem? Have a look at http://drupal.org/project/logintoboggan . I seem to recall there was a way to do something with the roles people get. Too half asleep to do more research right now, so I don't know if it's exactly right, but may get you closer. image module - too small attached pictures

Hi! I'm using the Image module, and checked that I would like to attach images to my nodes. Now when I attach a picture to a node, then it will be thumbnail sized, and if I click on the image, it won't enlarge it. Any idea how to configure this? (if this is possible at all) Thanks! Daniel
