5.1 img_assist, drupalimage and tinymce

I'm using drupal 5.1. I've installed img_assist and tinymce and enabled the drupalimage plugin in tinymce and fixed the path problem using these instructions http://drupal.org/node/135692. I am now able to insert images into tinymce; however, the image appears "broken" in the tinymce but correct in the Preview area. What am I doing wrong?

SOS - Can't get in to My Site

Hi, From my mistake i used the maintenance option and brought the site offline with that sticky message saying "This site is under maintenance.. etc" and now i can't override that. bit of php code in a block - how?

Hi everyone! I'm trying to put a little one-line date string on my site (eg.: 2007. April 16 (Monday)). The most quick and easiest way I thought was to create a new block (with admin/build/block) and put this code in it: <?php echo date("Y. F j. (l)"); ?> Then add this block to my site. But when loading the page I just get the code displayed and not executed. I have an Input format which allows PHP code and is available to nobody (so I can use it only with uid==1), and I've added the block content with this filter. Can't see what is the problem :\ Please comment, thank you! ps.: If there is a feature already in drupal which does this, that would be even better :) Daniel

L18N Node kills Frontpage

I need to do a quick demo site for a client. I am only a 2 day old Drupal user, and I am not really a programmer either. I tried to go through all the documentations and articles last 2 days but they are just overwhelming, and English isn't my native language - my excuses :-) Immediate problem: As soon as I turn Localization node module, frontpage disappears and the generic default page, the introduction page replaces it. I have Config > Default Page by node ID as well as other "promote to frontpage" functions but to no avail. As soon as I disable the L18N node module, my front page shows up as expected. P.S. Question - I need to make a switcher to switch between English and Japanese a la Joomla!. So far the L18N module documentation isn't clear how I should proceed, or I should say the documentation isn't clear how I should plan the data structure for L18N to begin with. forum stats

Hi, I'm trying to put together a block that shows "forum statistics" like the ones that typically come with phpbb forums and so on. You know, things like "currently active users", "number of threads", "number of posts". Now, I think I have most of them down now - using a few snippets here and there - but I'm still missing a way to display the complete number of posts in the forums. The trouble is that replies are in reality comments, and how do you count the comments that are restricted to the forums? This is a small feature, I admit, but I'm weird that way ;) Please correct me, if I'm way off - this is my first site with Drupal (ammenet.dk). Anyone know, how to accomplish this or just point me in the right direction? (I tried the drupal.org forums, but haven't gotten any replies yet, so I thought I'd try here) thanks! Morten

This is something I have always found frustrating. When I create a block (or even standard node content) with the following code: <ul list-style-type:none> <li>Title</li> <li>Created</li> <li># Comments</li> </ul> I still get the little white discs, which I think are graphics. If I use display:inline, it stays as a list with white discs. If I use background-image:none, it stays as a list with white discs. If I use list-style-image:none, it stays as a list with white discs. I was under the impression that inline CSS took precedence over linked or embedded CSS so why is the default Garland CSS seemingly an immovable object?

How to achieve this? A newsletter module? RSS feeds? 3rd party script.

I am looking for some pointers towards setting up a complicated content-mailing function on my site. Each node on the site will be attached to a State-level geographical entity. (Iowa, Arizona, Manitoba, Tasmania, Cornwall, etc, etc) I want to give my members the possibility of signing up and receiving daily, weekly, bi-weekly updates of all the latest content for each State. Ideally, this would be mailed to them, although if they were mailed only a URL, that too would be acceptable. Each "newsletter" would include a paragraph or two of general site news followed by the content that is only relevant to that person choice of State: - latest blog entries from Texas - latest Texas forum posts - latest new members from Texas and so on. I've had a couple of suggestions about which direction I could go to find this functionality...phpList and use of RSS feeds being mailed to members were two of the recommendations. Are there any current 5.1 modules that could get close to what I'm looking for or am I going to have to get realistic with my wishes? :-) Anyway, I put it to the mailing list and would like to see what a bit of brainstorming might do. Adding attributes to forms (exposed filters) in a page view

Hi I have been banging my head on this problem for quite some time now and really cant get anywhere close I want to add some error checking code to the exposed filters in the page view. For this I want to access the DOM of the output of the views_build_view call . So that I can add javascript events to the elements of the forms etc . How can I do this ??? In terms of drupal I think this will boil down to something like accessing the form array (Form API) of the form the exposed filters in a view create (My guess - adding an attribute here can help get a onclick event on the submit button of the form for example). Any pointers would be really helpful. Regards Abhinav

automatic creation of nodeprofile to go with the automatically created usernode?

I am using the following modules: nodeprofile usernode path auto Me aliases When a user signs up, a usernode is automatically created and using path auto/me aliases, this can be accessed using personal/me. In the menu, I also have a link to profile/me which is the correct URL for a user's nodeprofile...but only once it's been created. If a user clicks on that just after signing up, they get a 404. What's the best way around this? I know I can send a link in the confirmation e-mail to "node/add/nodeprofile" but there's no guarantee they'll click on it. If I have a hard-coded link to "node/add/nodeprofile", it will get in the way once a user has created a profile. possible solutions? 1. show menu link "Create Profile" only to those without a profile. How would I implement this? 2. Is there a way for an empty nodeprofile to be created at the same time as the usernode is created? 3. Can I use mysql triggers to, at least on the db side, insert an empty profile into the relevant table so that the profile at least exists once an account is created? Is there any other way around this issue? I know a lot of drupalers are using the nodeprofile/usernode combination so I'm sure this problem has been faced and resolved countless times. Thanks Neil
