Copy a drupal site

Hey support community, When creating a drupal site on a testserver, what is the best way to copy the site to the production server? Hereby i mean copying al modules(i think this is just FTPing)? Copying all configurations?(including config from modules) Copying database? Is there somekind of module that can create an image of a site? TIA, -- Kees

D5: Email rembember password in language different from English in a Multilanguage site

Hi all. I need to do some change in a multilanguage site (I have not created and setup-ed it). The site is configurate to respond in italian language when the user see "it/" path. One of the problem that I need to resolv is in the remember password email that it is sent always in english and not in Italian language even though the user is in "it/user/password" (note it/ ). Hi All I want to embed a viewer of documents like scribd in my site. Does anybody know such tool or module available? I dont want to use iPaper module, because I want to upload files on my server. Country specific content

Hello, I have a website and I'd like to have country specific content. Exactly the same way languages work but simply countries. I'm currently using localize in i18n but I run into a problem where I have two countries with the same language - uk, us, and austrailia for example. Anyone have an idea how I can work around this? How to make payment part of a user creation.

Dear All, I am trying to set up a Drupal site where online services will be sold. A user can only exist if she/he completed a payment (i.e. we will not have free users). From my understanding this means the payment itself is a prerequisite to create a user; it is part of the user creation itself. I have looked at UBERCART. I have been able to install/configure and integrate it with my payment gateway. Now I have a cart and a user can "purchase". All that works fine... But I am kinda lost because what I want is to integrate this payment as part of the user creation. Could anyone let me know where should I start looking at? Thank you so much! unai

Opinion on Host Gator ?

Hello All, I did search for various hosting services. But many reply on forum looks like fake. So I want to know any "real" opinion for Host Gator ?? Specially for drupal related websites. ( Ubercart, Gallery, other forum, Open Atrium, etc ) Because my 95% sites are drupal sites. Also on many server wont get "mail" support by default. We need smtp auth then that can send mails. ( which configuration process is time consuming ) what is your call for Host Gator ? I had seen lots of recommendation on forum for Drupal + Host Gator . Thanks Amit Karpe.

ubercart question

I've got a question about ubercart. Well, actually a few questions: 1. Can you set it up so you have a one time sign up fee, and then have a recurring charge as well? Does this depend on the payment gateway? Does authorize.net support this? 2. Can I automatically create a user and log them in before I redirect them to the checkout page? I would be doing this in a custom module (basically a landing page with contact info) 3. Can i take some fields that I'm getting from a landing page form (custom module's form) and put them in ubercart for the billing address of the user i just logged in (above #1) so it is prepopulated at the checkout page? I am using the webserver_auth module with drupal 6.12 / Apache 2.2 in a windows 2003 server to take advantage of the NTLM and Active Directory in windows and automatically sign in the user when they access our local intranet site. I look at the phpinfo.php page and it knows each different user when I take a look at _SERVER["REMOTE_USER"] and REMOTE_USER The weird thing is that when I access the site it knows me 'user20'. But when user1 access the site it recognizes 'user1' but when 'user2' or 'user3' or any other user after that access the intranet site, it logs other users as 'user1' I go back and access the intranet site and it still knows me as 'user20' I have not done anything special to tell drupal that 'user20' is special. I do not understand, I had this working last month and then I re-installed the module and it is not working now. PHP knows who the user is but Drupal automatically sign on users as the first 'user1' The only differences between user20 and any other user is that user20 is the main admin user but why does it treats all other users as the same user? hi, I have 6.14 drupal and last versions cck,servieces, imagefiled modules. I've prepred a view for get all of one type content like shown here : http://grab.by/O9I http://grab.by/O9I but when I get the view result I get duplicated groups for each image data like here : http://grab.by/O9N http://grab.by/O9N AS you can see there are 3 group which nid:21 Because node contain 3 images. this is happening when I added the Content: Project - data description field to fields block of view. what can I do to prevent it?
