Still attempting to get the WYSIWYG module to work with fckeditor. When I go to upload an image I get the following: error message: This file uploader is disabled. Please check the "editor/filemanager/connectors/php/config.php" file and if I go to the config.php file, I cannot change it. // SECURITY: You must explicitly enable this "connector". (Set it to "true"). // WARNING: don't just set "$Config['Enabled'] = true ;", you must be sure that only // authenticated users can access this file or use some kind of session checking. $Config['Enabled'] = false ; So, if I can't just set it to true, how do I enable this? Is there a setting somewhere in WYSIWYG that I have missed? thanks in advance. Cherie

d6: how can I remove the "previous/next topic" in forum?

Hi, I upgraded to d6 and I have still this problem... and I don't remember how I solve it in d5. Remove the links to previous and next topic when viewing a node in the forum. I'm sure I must write something in the template but I don't know what. Searching in drupal.org I find information about d5 and d4...

module to change node owner

Hi all, I am searching for a module which allows admin to change the ownership of drupal node. My requirement is something like this, I am working on a project similar to linkedin.com where users can register, create a profile and share it with other. Here the profile is a CCK node (with some fields restricted to users based on roles) implemented using content_profile module. Sometimes admin has to create a profile node for site users. When the user registers in our site, he should be given a link where he can make a request to takeover the ownership of the profile node. Is there a module exists for this ? Any suggestion pertaining to this will be greatly appreciated. -- Thanks Sivaji

Forum topic side-wide contact from not emailing the user's email while sending the email has been updated.

Dear Community, When some one (authenticated user or anonymous user) uses the site wide contact form, I do get the email, however, the email does not include the value entered in the email field (for anonymous user).. It only includes the subject, Name, and the Message. The problem is I cannot contact the anonymous users as I don't get their email address that they entered while submitting the form. Is the a way i can fix it. Thanks, -Nabil.

Creating Books

When I create a book page, I have the path to automatically be set to *[type-name]/[termpath-raw]/title-raw]* When I create a book "IS Operations Manual" and its path becomes *book-page/operations-manual* I then create a book-page *Database Policies* and the book outline is *Book: IS Operations manual Parent Item: IS Operations Manual* The Book path is set automatically to *book-page/database-policies* I expected the database Policies to be a book part of the Operation Manual in other word I expected the Database Policies path to be book-page/operations-manual/database-policies I am going to creaete several books with several sub books and then each book sub book will have pages that I want then to have a path as follows: *book-page/operations-manual/database-policies/database-policy-1* * How can I create the path to look as above?* Like a taxonomy with categories but I do not see the taxonomy module touching the books module Tanks, Nestor :-)

When D7 will be avaible ?

Hi all, I need to make an offer for a client. He has a D5 site and want to make some changes before switch to D7. I want to switch it to D6, before changes. But I can not ask him money to switch from D5 to D6 and after from D6 to D7 if D7 will be out in few mounth. So, does someone know a estimated release date ? or period. Something broken in my account database?

I'm running Drupal 5.7. I've got a user who is having problems creating an account. At /user/register, he (and I can replicate this) fills in the username, email address, etc, and clicks on the "create new account" button. This gets him to a screen which says: oops! there was a problem... The e-mail address a1ram(a)optonline.net is already registered. Have you forgotten your password? If he then clicks on the "Have you forgotten your password" link, and enters a1ram(a)optonline.net in the "username or email address" box, he gets, " oops! there was a problem... Sorry, a1ram(a)optonline.net is not recognized as a user name or an email address. Any idea how to fix this? ---------------- Roy Smith roy(a)panix.com

Hi, I am trying to create a product/ad website where the actual manufacturers add their own content. I want to give these manufacturers a login and the content they create be tagged with (uneditable) their manufacturer tag. I thought I'd ask in the support forum first in case there is a feature I've missed, but I'm suspecting I'm going to need to write at least a little bit of code. My first step would be to use content profile I guess to link taxonomy terms to users and then for my node use hook_nodeapi() to alter it based on that (maybe also hiding the actual taxonomy field for that user). Does that make sense or does anyone know a better way to do it? Thanks, Anthony.

are mysql queries in drupal possible?

Hi, How can add an item to the Primary links Menu that will do a basic select query within drupal? ie Lets say I have a mysql database "database1" and a table "table1" with the following fields (name, address, email etc) How can I add a menu item to the Primary Links menu that will do a select * from table1 and then print it out in the right hand panel? Is this possible? Paul ps.
