Display Field Contents in Node/Edit

What is the best practice to edit CCK fieldset (group) descriptions outside of admin* ?? It doesn't even have to be a description... could just be a CCK field displayed directly in the node/edit form. Should I just make a custom module?

How to recreate 2000+ pathauto terms ?

Hi all. I need to recreate the pathauto values of 2000+ terms. In internet I have find only a pathauto_batch not official module that works only for node types. Is there some similar module for the taxonomy ? Have you enabled the wysiwyg module and installed an editor such as tinyMCE in /public_html/sites/all/libraries/ ? WYSIWYG problem with image upload

I am getting the following message when trying to use the WYSWIG plug in to upload images. This connector is disabled. Please check the "editor/filemanager/connectors/php/config.php" file" I do not have a folder called editor/..... I figured this would be in my sites/all/modules/WYSIWYG folder but I only have a folder named editors. And no filemanager folder in that. Should I be looking elsewhere? Thank you for any assistance in advance.

Views help: trying to circumvent an argument when there are no available values

Hi folks— This one has had me stumped for months, and it seems like the sort of thing that should be easy, but I'm obviously missing something basic. I'm using Location Views, which provides a view called "location_directory" and permits users to view nodes by location, selecting first country, then state/province, then city and seeing a list of all nodes that match that city. It's a pretty straightforward view: Arguments: Location: Country, Location: Province, Location: City. Each uses style: list Filters: Node: Published or admin, Location: LID not empty Each of the arguments looks like this: Action to take if argument is not present: Summary, sorted ascending wildcard: all Validator: <Basic validation> Action to take if argument does not validate: Display all values. This works wonderfully except for countries which have no provinces listed at all. Singapore is one such. In this case, the Singapore listing lists "unknown" as the only province selection. Clicking on "unknown" does not take us to /location/directory/sg/all but instead to /location/directory/sg/ ... in other words, it links to the same page. I'm trying to figure a way to circumvent the province (the second argument) in cases where the selected first argument means there are no values to provide for a second argument. I thought I'd gotten somewhere with the following approach: * Configure Argument Location: Province * Change "Action to take if argument is not present" to "Provide default argument" * Set "Default argument type" to "fixed entry" * Set "Default argument" to "all" (or whatever is set as "Wildcard" above) But to my chagrin that simply always circumvented the province and went right to the listing of cities. Is the only solution I have to use PHP Code as a validator and display a summary if the validator fails? Would such an approach even work? My thanks, Steve

Thanks for that Victor, I see where it is specified now. I deleted the scale and crop action and created a scale action only specifying the width since that is the client's requirement. how to change a content type format

I am doing some maintenance on a site and the author is unavailable for any questions. Being pretty new to Drupal I'm able to track things so far but no farther. In this case there is a view with a display that shows a particular field listed as Content: Box shot - front_thumb image linked to node Need to locate those formats and either edit the existing one or create a new one. Hoping the format includes hard-coded image height & width attributes cuz that's what needs to be changed, and I checked all the themes listed for this view display and nothing is in there so hoping, thinking it's got to be in the format, but where are the formats? Also looked at the content types and list of fields, not there either. Hope this is coherent. Marty
