drupal insert details into node tables

insert content into page content type, I have created the drupal custom module, this module display the form(title textbox, text message box, one submit button), user will enter the message and go for submit, when form is submitted, i want to insert details into my page content type, how to achieve this functionality,(overall thing is, content should insert into node, node_revision and related tables if it is there). -- Regards B.S.Bharanikumar http://php-mysql-jquery.blogspot.com/

Admin user cannot edit page

Good afternoon, I've setup a few access roles on my Drupal site (running COD). node 34 on my site cannot be edited by any account but mine (I have site administrator and attendee manager roles). I created a role "edit everything" for the other conference organisers. They still can't edit this node. I created a new page (https://<website>.<tldr>/node/add/page), but they couldn't edit this new one. To reaffirm my suspicions, I created a new account, giving it only the roles site administrator and attendee manager. This new account couldn't edit that page either. "You are not authorized to access this page." How do I fix this access bug? Thanks for all suggestions, Alec Taylor BTW: This is a Full HTML page

using Google Analytics

I am using Google Analytics with Google Analytics Summary under drupal 7. I wo8uld like to view how many times a file has been downloaded. I do have it set to track downloads, but can not figure out how to view the cound for a specific file. I've read the docs, but? Any suggestions? User Role from User Points

Hello All, Can someone kindly share the rules code for assigning a particular role when an authenticated user attains certain user points? I have been working to create the code for past 10 days but with no success. I have also tried 'Userpoint Contributed Module' but it does not work as the codes are still not ported to D7. Media - Image Styles for Photo Gallery [NOT PROTECTIVELY MARKED]

Classification: NOT PROTECTIVELY MARKED I am using Drupal v7.8 and building a Photo Gallery using Shadow Box. When building the image styles for the thumbnail images they are set to 150px by 100px, the problem I am having is that when I upload images that are landscape they appear smaller that the actual fixed size which has upscalling applied to it. Portrait images are working fine. Any help and guidance on resolving this so all thumbnail are the same size is greatly appreciated. Privatemsg module and mailing lists/distribution lists..

I am using the Privatemsg module on my site and its great but I have a need to allow simple emailing of a group of users.. As an example.. I would the users to be able to send a private message to "Bookings" and for this to go to 4 individual people.. Anyone have any ideas how to do this easily? TIA

Error in user core module

I am getting the following error when I try to open admin panel for Invite module: Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$roles in user_save() (line 493 of/mysite/modules/user/user.module). and a long list of errors Besides, it erases all the new user roles created. multiple sites with drupal

Hi All, I have just now installed drupal and could create site. My requirement is to create multiple sites accessing single database. Please see below for details: my db is : db_xyz. my sites are www.ky.com, www.sz.com,www.tr.com (say all these are resolvable) Now I need to set up all the three above mentioned sites using drupal such that all the three sites access same db_xyz database ( with out any tables prefixes approach). list nodes with two layers of node references

I have a Drupal 6 site that has content types/node references that look like this: Keyterm -->Concept --> Standard The content type Keyterm has a node reference to Concept; the Concept content type has a node reference to Standard. On each Standards page, I want a block that lists all Keyterms associated with the Standard (related through the Concept). Any thoughts on how this could be done or example sites? Dear all; How are you? I am a new on Drupal. Recently, I got the final version of our project website from the commercial company and I created a development version of my Drupal, which is the exact same copy of the production server. I got the following errors when I accessed "wiki" and "blog"s. My wiki is made with "Book" module. Fatal error: require_once() [function.require <http://lnkd.info/wiki/function.require> ]: Failed opening required 'Text/Wiki/Mediawiki.php' (include_path=':.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /usr/lib/php/Text/Wiki.php on line 473 You can check it out in my server : http://lnkd.info/wiki/agrodep-wiki I tried to fix it. I found that the file "Wiki.php" in the /usr/lib/php/Text/ folder. But, I don't know how to fix it. My guess is that I need to fix it in the Drupal instead of PHP file. Is there anyone who knows some clue or hint to fix this problem? Do I re-install new version of modules? Thanks for your help in advance. : ) Best Regards, Soonho
