using node reference, title to place images in blog posts

We are using the CCK nodereference module on several page types on our site. This means that when someone wants to add an image or other media file to a page, they type the Node ID, or the beginning of the node title, into an appropriate field. Then, using what I have always assumed was JavaScript, the module either digs up the relevant image, or a list of potential images from which the correct image can be double-clicked and inserted. How do we enable this behavior if we are using Islandora? Do we create faux media nodes? How are Fedora media assets best integrated with actual pages? Alternatively, am I misunderstanding what Islandora is doing? Is there something in the Islandora ingest process that already creates a faux node, so that one can either address an object using the Fedora PID and appropriate URL; or, can reference it from within Drupal using a Drupal node ID? help with FB button

I am running druap 6 .22, this should be simple, and I have done it before but it is just not working this time. Drupal 7, Slideshow Creator module

I just installed Slideshow Creator for my Drupal 7 site. There were/are no errors and the slideshow appears but the images don't show up, even with the example code from the module's documentatio (below). Any suggestions for how to roubleshoot? Help with hook_field_info() and friends

Hello, I'm new to the fields/CCK api, and having a bit of trouble getting Drupal 7 to see my field. I found the field_example module in the examples.module, and found the corresponding presentation on Acquia TV (though the text was too low res to read). I'm able to copy the RGB Color field example, enable it, and Drupal 7 sees and uses it without a hitch. I tried replacing instances field_example with mymodule but then Drupal stops seeing the field even after a drush dis mymodule && drush en mymodule. In the presentation the speaker said that all fields had a few minimum hooks, but I couldn't quite make it out on the screen. I tried to make a minimal field using just hook_field_info, hook_field_is_empty, hook_field_schema, and hook_field_validate, but I seem to still be doing something wrong. I can post my code to the mailing list if desired, but I think what would really help me is if there is a minimal example of using hook_field_info and friends somewhere on the internet I can read through? I'm really not sure where I'm going wrong in my code (no php errors or watchdog warnings, field just doesn't become available.) A smaller more digestible example would probably help me greatly. If not, can anyone point me to what hooks are the bare minimum that need to be implemented? As an alternative to field_info I started using hook_node_presave() to mish-mash values, but I get an impression that's not the best way to make a custom field. Thanks a bunch,

D6: re-ordering taxonomy fields in node submission form

Dear all, I'm using D6 to build the catalog of a digital library. I've created a type content to represent books and taxonomy vocabularies to represent authors and publishers. Now when adding a node for a book, I have to enter author and publisher first, and then all the other fields such as title, presentation, etc. I would like to be able to re-arrange the field order so that I can enter title first, then author, then publisher, etc. It is not possible yet because there seems to be no weight associated with taxonomy tags which seem to be handled in a different manner. Could anybody suggest a solution, please ? Thanks so much in advance for any help, Sherab.

Youtube Videos in Drupal 7

Hello All, For one of my client I am creating website on Drupal 7. In this site we want to provide the feature to videos from YouTube.com website, which was earlier available with Drupal 6 Video module. For this I have used media_youtube module. This module allows to add the youtube video link with node. But after submitting it instead of the video it show some content with link to the video which was submitted with same node. Nodereference widget with sorting?

Hello All, I have a nodereference field that allows me to reference from 3 different content types. When i use the autocomplete widget i'm able to reference AND sort the referenced items. But i would rather have all the available items for reference displayed in e.g. a drop down. When opting for that widget i lose the ability to sort. Is there a good way or plugin to make this nodereferencing more user-friendly? Any help greatly appreciated. Best, Toon

Text Formats : Allow text alignment?

Hi, How do I allow text alignment in my Filtered HTML text format? I am using WYSIWYG with CKeditor.. I have enabled the alignment buttons and they work but the tags are being filtered.. The <p style="text-align: justify; "> tag is being changed to <p> when showing on the page.. The <p> tag is allowed but not the styling.. Any ideas?

Changing backgrounds

I have a customer who wants to wants to alter the page background depending on who advertises on the page. I could do this in the CSS, but don't want him messing with that. I'm guessing that the Context module might help. Does anyone have any other techniques to suggest? It must be easy for the customer to do on his own, both setting up and maintaining.
