More than one add to cart buttons on a product page

Hi, Is there a way I can create multiple add to cart buttons on my product page, one for each attribute? With an attribute you have options like select, radio, checkboxes, etc, my question is what would it take to have add to cart buttons for each attribute. I would be more than happy to work on a patch for the same but I did not want to hack the core ubercart module. There are a lot of use cases for this as it is sometimes important to highlight all your attributes in a unique way. Any suggestions help will be appreciated. Cheers, Mukesh

How to use same CSS as thta of Navigation Menu in Custom Menu Blocks

Hi All I am using Drupal 6.20. Theme I use is "marinelli\alagna". I have two problems. Please let me know how can I fix those. 1. When I access page "?q=user" , I get a page having two textfield one for user name and other for password. The width of these two text fileds are looking different (user field width looks more). Checked the code, looks in code for both these textfields are having same length (60). This is I am observing with IE8. However when I use firefox both these fields width looks same. Please suggest what to do so that both in IE8 and Firefox the width for both user name and password fields look same. 2. The look and feel of Navigation menu is much better than other custom menu-blocks. I have a custom menu-block, where I have parent menus leaf menus etc. In Navigation menu block, parent menu's left icon is a small arrow tip, leaf menu's left icon is a small circle. In Custom menu block, parent menu's left icon is a small circle, leaf menu's left icon is a small circle. I want to see Custom menu block's parent menu's left icon as an arrow tip. Please suggest what should be done. Regards Austin

superfish / parent menu item with no link?

Hi everyone -- I am crash-coursing on Drupal 7 using the Danland theme, which incorporates Superfish. One of my Main Menu items (a.k.a Primary LInks in Drupal6-ese) is "About". Submenus under About are "Our Mission", "Our Team" etc. I have the submenus working fine, but I'm having a problem in that in the Menus setup I can't make an About menu item on the top level that links to NO page because the Path is a required field. I only want the submenus to have links. I have tried making About point to the same node as Our Mission. But then the problem is that in Firefox 4 a hover over the top-level menus does not drop the sub-menus. A click on the top-level menu is required. This has the effect of putting the user on the Our Mission page instead (after the submenu items briefly show & then disappear again). Then they have to click on About again to drop the submenus but after some sort of js (or something) processing the submenus close up after a split second. So. Is there either any way to make Superfish submenus work in FF4 (by "work" I mean drop upon hover) OR is there a way to have a parent item (i.e., in the top-level Main Menu) with no path entered? thanks, kazar

git_deploy & workflow

Hi all, Time was I checked out modules/core from CVS and used cvs_deploy to ensure correct version info. Now we've moved over to git, one should use git_deploy. However I notice that it's a) at dev, and b) has only a small reported number of live sites. Do folk feel git_deploy's ok for live sites? If not, may I ask what people are doing instead? As a related question, do people feel it's worthwhile checking out from source control rather than just getting via the packager? When I first started using CVS it was to simplify the update process. However I now know about drush update, and wonder if there's any real advantage to sticking with my old ways? TIA, Andy . . . . . . . direct path to user's content profile?

Hello all, I have a menu-item called "my profile" that should point to the content profile part of the currently logged in user. Is there a way to simply set this in the path property of the menu item? Using tokens? If not, what is the best way to do this? Any help greatly appreciated! Best, Toon

Error trying to install module in new site.

Hello all. I am installing another testing domain with Drupal 7. The first one is running fine with Marinelli and does part of what I want to learn to do. So I decided to have another site, for testing and leave the first one to improve things done under testing/developing. I installed without problems (version 7.0 , that is the one that install my server with CPanel) and ai decided to upgrade. By the way the upgrade oin 1st site was done fine and the site works fine apparently. After upgrading the second site and receive no errors (it was empty so I guess it should upgrade without problems) I decided to start configuring it by installing some of the modules I was using on the other. I tried installing TOKEN and PATHAUTO as I did on the other but this time I receive this error: --------------------------------- Error message The specified file temporary://filesTktdp could not be copied, because the destination directory is not properly configured. This may be caused by a problem with file or directory permissions. More information is available in the system log. http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/token-7.x-1.0-beta2.tar.gz could not be saved to temporary://update-cache-eda84aec/token-7.x-1.0-beta2.tar.gz. Unable to retrieve Drupal project from http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/token-7.x-1.0-beta2.tar.gz. --------------------------------- my guess is that when I uploaded the upgrade to 7.2 a permission of one directory that acts as temporary was affected... but I can not find which one. I have not tested in 1st one (let's name it "production one" but I guess could be affected also since the procedure was the same... - Any ideas of what to do to fix this? - Any other suggestion on checking production site ? events page in drupal 7

Hi all -- I have moderate exposure to Drupal 5 and 6, and am building a Drupal 7 site as a volunteer for a summer-long art project for kids. I could probably learn the info I need by spending hours reading the docs and playing in my sandbox installation, but the site needs to be up now, at least with bare minimum features, and my time is very limited. So I'm hoping for some suggestions to help me get this accomplished ASAP (and I *promise* to read the docs over the next few weeks!) I have a Main Menu item called Events. I have created a content type called Events. Each Events type node will need a start date, end date, description, and if possible option to include an image. When a site visitor clicks on Events all the Events type nodes should be displayed in Start Date order, sort of like blog posts added to a blog site. HOW DO I DO THIS? The problems I've run into so far are ... 1. When I made the Events main menu link, since I have no clue what path to give it, for now I just used node/add. What node should it be? There is no one Events "page", it will just be a list of events. 2. I don't see any Date field types in manage fields for the Event content type. How do I add date fields? 3. How and where do I specify that any node of the Events content type will appear when a visitor clicks the Events link? I thought of using Views (which would handle the sorting too) but I see that Views is still in Beta for D7 and I cannot afford to mess around with heavily buggy modules. Any opinions on the status of Views? 4. Should I be using Taxonomy instead of or in addition to Content Type to define which posts should appear under the Events link? I would think that the question "how do I list all content of a particular type under my menu link" is a FAQ but I can't find a simple page that explains it. Any pointers would be so appreciated!! kazar

Error with my first module

Hello, I'm tryin' to setup my first module. Created the .info and .module files on sites/all/modules/modulename, and start with a very basic block but when I enable th emodule it breaks my primary links menu (superfish menu). Here's the simple code on .module , any idea? Wich is the simplest way to debug this kind of problems? Deploy Module with Differing Sites

Hello I'm attempting to use the deploy module to move several thousand nodes of multiple types, from one site to another. [A project which was supposed to be done today.:(] The sites are at the same D6 version, have the same modules more or less, and aught to be compatible. However, one is using core themes, and the other (destination) is using fusion and its ilk; and the receiving site has nodes of its own which should not be destroyed when the new nodes from the source site come over. The instructions for deploy (http://drupal.org/node/408774) indicate that the destination site should be an identical copy of the source site, created after the deploy module is configured. That isn't possible here--these are concurrently running sites, each with individual content. I am guessing that I can still setup deploy, and must somehow make provision for differing unique IDs for terms and so on, but otherwise it could potentially work? Any advice appreciated. Luke
