I¹m new to Drupal. A very experienced programmer, but new to Drupal. I have worked my way through Beginning Drupal 7 by Todd Tomlinson and Pro Drupal 7 Development by Todd Tomlinson and John K VanDyk. I¹ve watched some videos and online code examples. Here¹s where I am in my project. The site is set up, contributed modules installed, base theme installed. I¹m beginning to add 13 custom content types. I want them to be added from modules, 1 for each type since there will be a cafeteria plan. There¹s much more, but I¹m stuck here. In the books there was a example of adding one field to a new content type. All created in a module. The exercise worked great. However, when I try it with one of my modules that has multiple fields, things get screwed up. - The fields are added to the database, but they do not appear on the form. - During uninstall, the field tables are not removed from the database. - I don¹t know how to set all of the properties of the data field or widget that I can when I am creating a custom content type using the administrative pages. - I want the fields to be contained in fieldsets upon installation. I can do this if I am creating a form from scratch with code, but how do I do this in a custom content type module.install script? I¹ve screwed around with this so much now that I¹m not sure when what stopped working. Help migrate a site

Hi, I need some help to migrate a site.. If I move it using ftp and scp and changing the config file work, but something don't go. If you can go to http://www.acofiin.eu/ you can see the error (I put the display_error = on in php.ini) I tried rebuild the php, mysql and everyone in the linux platform, I tried to move the site to enother domain, clean the cache, but nothing.. I have always that error: *Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '?' in /var/www/vhosts/ acofiin.eu/httpdocs/includes/common.inc(1477)<http://acofiin.eu/httpdocs/includes/common.inc%281477%29>: eval()'d codeon line 21* Can someone help me? pathauto replacing question mark & equal to sign in the desired url with %3D etc.

Hi, For a particular taxonomy vocabulary, I am setting up a url alias as: myuniquepath/spath?tag=[term-name] e.g. myuniquepath/spath?tag=newbie The url shown in the alias list is fine and shows as above but when being rendered on nodes/teasers, i see %3F & %3D in the url : myuniquepath/spath%3Ftag%3Fnewbie Any way to avoid/overcome this? I also have set the punctuation settings in pathauto for '?' & '=' to no action. - Ben

Colors in a view of calendar

Hello. I want to put colors in a view of calendar. All my events appears blue. The events of hours (not a full day) appears pink. With module event you can put different colors. Module problems with 6.22?

I just upgraded a 6.20 site to 6.22 via latest drush. It is worth noting that the 6.20 version of the site, reported all modules up to date when I did so. Once finished, drush told me that it had disabled the following modules, because they were incompatible with my version of Drupal: taxonomy_menu taxonomy_menu_hierarchy taxonomy_menu_path_custom taxonomy_menu_vocabulary_path admin_menu What's going on here? I have re-downloaded these modules at their most recent versions, and re-enabled them (except for admin_menu, which I took to latest dev). Should I expect problems? Luke

Get thee to Drupal 7

While discussing a rebuild of a fairly simple CMS site yesterday I was asked questions about moving to Drupal7. --- There are many alpha and beta versions, Drupal7 beta 3 and alpha 8 so which is the most bug free latest version to install? -- Does Drupal 7, the recommended download have all the bug fixes of the alpha and beta versions? -- There seem to be no new releases or bug fixes over the past months, does this mean drupal 7 is good to go in production. Can someone please advise me on this. Thanks in advance Roger PS. I have both Drupal 7 stable and Drupal 7 beta 3 on my home pc, both seem to work well but I could not answer those questions. FusionPath problem on update

While updating a D6.20 site via drush, it wants to update fusion: Fusion 6.x-1.0 6.x-1.1 Update available I give it the go-ahead, and receive: Module fusion path is not available, perhaps the module is enabled [error] but has been deleted from disk. Cache cleared. An error occurred at function : drush_core_cache_clear [error] An error occurred at function : drush_pm_updatecode [error] An error occurred at function : drush_pm_update [error] I can't find any references to fusionpath in the fusion release notes, source tree, or parts of the handbook which seemed most likely. Google is turning up zilch. Thanks for any suggestions! Luke

Password stored in DB

Hi, I'd like to know if it's possible to store passwords in plain text with Drupal. I see it's probably md5 hashed. I'd need them in plain text because I have an action which register the user to another service on the server once the user is registered, but since the password is hashed it doesn't work. Hello everyone I am absolutely new to Drupal and i have a lot of questions I know, I know RTFM I did but still Used to make sites with homesite 5.1 and i could see what i got. It was all on my harddrive and i ftp-ed it to the site where i wanted. Clean and easy. But now Drupal 7.0 I can feel it is great and i really want to work with it. But i get stuck on some simple issues I can't find. My trial is on www.dallef.com (don't laugh) I got it up and running on the server of my host. All is working fine. Got dallef.com directed to a directory called D7place. here i my questions 1 somehow i get the text "body"when i make a page. I must have turned on that option. I want to turn it back But i can't find it. 2. How do i make a link on a page? (full html option? 3 I want to make a bluespage with music. On one page info about the artist and then a few pages with photo's and music. (second menu? 4 Can i only upload a photo in article? 5 How can i link to a musicfile (mp3) And where do i put the musicfile 6 When i got the side up and running i have to migrate to the directory of dallef. Right? Or can i have multiple sites direct to D7Place I scanned three books and looked on the site drupal.org. my questions seem to be too simple. Try "making a link" on the drupal site As you may have noticed i don't know didley about programming but i can learn I need someone just to get me started and then i can figure it out myself. Hi, I have a new install of CentOS 5.6 which is up to date. I've downloaded and unpacked Drupal 7.2 and am working through the install. I've got a problem with an apparent conflict between php-common and php53- common. The Drupal installer is asking for php-gd and php-dom.
