Differenciating dev and prod site

Dear all, I'm administrating a site for which I run several development version: one private on my laptop, just for me, one also on the same machine as the production version, for public testing... I'm wondering whether you guys know a way to show something on the pages that make it clear that one is browsing a dev version rather than the production site. The algorithm could be something like this: if ip=PROD_IP and vhost=PROD_VHOST then production site else dev site So the feature should require no database change, so that the different versions of the site can be differenciated from each other even after a database synchronisation. Any suggestion warmly appreciated. Thanks, Sebastien.

Combining two forms

Hey all, I have two forms that I need to combine on a Drupal 6 website and I've researched this as much as possible to no luck. The problem, for me, lies in the fact that one of the forms is a regular node add form and the other isn't created by the Form API (but through LM Paypal). Yet, I need a single submit button so the node saves and the user is redirected to Paypal with the specific IPN information for the site. The code to generate the LM Paypal form is : <?php if (function_exists('lm_paypal_can_subscribe')) { $subid = 1; $theme = drupal_get_path('theme', 'mytheme'); $button_url = $theme . '/images/pay_button.png'; if (lm_paypal_can_subscribe ($subid)) { print lm_paypal_subscribe($subid,8,$button_url); } //endif lm_paypal } //endif fn exists ?> Printing this in my modified node form's validation or submission functions doesn't work... Because of the way this form is created in the LM Paypal module I don't have a clue how to modify it to fit in with the proper Form API methods used to submit two forms with one button. drupal 5 export nodes

Is there a way to export nodes and the attachment file names in drupal 5 in to some sort of text file? I have to get the data out of drupal 5 and enter it in to drupal 7 and there really is no way to do it but by hand since I was using the audio module and in drupal 7 I am not using it. rename a drupal install?

Hello all, I have recently installed Drupal 6.22 and access it with a URL like x.com/directoryname It would be handy to keep the content (not much content yet) and rename (if that's the way) so I can use x.com/otherdirectoryname without reinstalling or changing users, etc. Simple directory renaming won't do and I CAN reinstall and copy content, but is there a simple way to do this? Drupal Feeds

Cannot get a Drupal feed to validate with www.feedburner.com or FireFox/yahoo reader. The url validates at http://validator.w3.org/feed/ and it works fine with Chrome. Firefox (using Yahoo reader as default) also throws an error: "There were some problems while loading your page. We were unable to add this feed." See screenshot I've searched hours for a solution... there are plenty others with this error too, but no solution. The feed url is: http://musewearflipflops.com/blog/feed.xml Can anyone see why this feed does not work with FireFox/Yahoo, or feedburner? Thanks, Lynn Stott www.stottdesign.com

We have a server installed in Drupal. A few days ago, the manager of Drupal,wher he is enabling several modules, the web caused the following error: The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later. Apparently occurred when activating a module named Trigger. I managed to disable the module via command line, with tool named drush, but the problem persists. Reviewing the logs, I have not seen any error that tells me the problem. I have a new version of drupal 6.22 on another box which is ready for installation. Can I just point this new version of drupal to this newly restored postgres database and if so how would I do this?

I have an existing drupal 6.20 database backed up and restored to another postgres database. I also have a new version of drupal 6.22 on another box which is ready for installation. I feel very blond at the moment. I went to the blog content type and enabled comments with the standard options. There is nothing from the comment module showing up on a blog post. I checked node.tpl.php and it does include a print render($content['comments'])) line. There are, of course, no comments posted because we can't. But the form is not even showing. Drupal 6 and the Semantic Web

I have a website that provides a blog, band listings, and a calendar for a SIG in which I am active. I am starting the migration to Drupal6 and would like to incorporate as much "Semantic Web" stuff as fits available modules and which might be useful. Obvious areas that want to be coded with microformats (simplest form of Linked Open Data related to the Semantic Web): * Reviews (There is simple enough microformatting for these - probably not going to do more than incorporate it into the page template for same) * Location/geocoding (What Drupal module makes this easiest to expose so that people can locate items on a map and also ask questions like, "who is located within 25 miles of this address") * FOAF (Friend of a Friend) - what would it take and how would I code band members, teachers, etc., so that people can see who is linked to whom and explore bands and musicians that way? * Events - if I can identify an event using microformats, and have the location geocoded, wowza. Could make for a great way to make it easy for events to be spidered and shared Suggestions for modules, documentation, examples? Many thanks, Ari
