file field tokens

Hi, it seems I am not going to have access to the token list any time soon as it still is not accessible to those using screeding technology. Would some one be willing to tell me the tokin that would be used if I have a content type of archives and a filefield field called file to display the url to the attached file? I need this as when I page is created with an attachment I have the rules module send me an email and I would like to include a direct link to the file. Thank you. media module questions with drupal 7

Hi, Is there a way to set the file storage path for media module files so that it makes a year/month/filename archive of the files, rather than just putting everything in the same directory? I had a quick look on google for a plugin that does this, but didn't find anything. I'm using drupal 7. Also, it would be good to know if anyone has experience with the views media browser module? http://drupal.org/project/views_media_browser I'd like to use this on the site I'm building, because we will have a lot of images and the standard media browser isn't really good enough. thanks, andrew baxter

timeout error in D7-10

I've got an installation of Drupal 7.10 where I routinely get this error: Connection timed out: mod_fcgid: ap_pass_brigade failed in handle_request function, referer: http://ecobc.net/ The referer is correct. I don't know where to look for the mod_fcgid handle request error. I suspect a resource shortage but would be happy to have suggestions for where to look or what to do. The error above in the apache log gives a 500 error on the user screen. views api - adding external database

I created a views extension to add an external database. I followed the tutorial at http://larsolesen.dk/node/273 (without the extra handler), and added the external database to settings.php (and the database connection works, I am using it with other modules). There is one little thing that I am missing: Where am I expected to see the newly defined database table? In the Views UI at "Add new view", what do I choose, and what do I expect to be added? Can't wrap my head around it .... (D7, Views3) Thanks, Ursula

Alter /admin/content/node/overview

Hello All, I'd want to change this link in the admin menu to /admin/content/node/project but i can't seem to find where to alter it. Any ideas? Best, Toon

I suggest that you do this not via phpMyAdmin but with a simple SQL query, via ssh. alternatively you can also do in in phpMyAdmin. I would prepare a query that does it in one run If you are afraid of fumbly fingers or not: first backing up your database is always the way to go! The fields to change are node.title WHERE node.nid = '##' url_alias.alias WHERE source="node/"'node.nid' (UPDATE node , url_alias SET ... You can create a list of your node-ID, url_alias, node-TITLE in a texteditor like vim, and then replace each line with regex to the needed SQL code. run this for testing purposes on some test-nodes and then apply it to the full list. the advantage is that you don'T have to install a module with side-effects and additional server load and you can easily record and repeat the steps

problems adding content drupal 7.10

HI have been adding content using filefield and the filesources module to copy files from a path on the server to drupal and I've experience a blank page coming up after I submit the page. So the file name is there in the sites/default/files folder, but there is no page created. So when I add the page again I get a file name created with the _0.extention. How can I fix this since I have no page to delete but the one that has the filename_0.extention. How can I fix this and why do I get these blank pages, never experienced this before. Bulk update of page titles & URL Alias?

I have to update a large number of pages and change the Title and URL Alias of each to a different, unique string. Is there a way to do this other than visiting each page and editing it? I suppose I could use PHPMyAdmin and go directly into the database but I'd like a little more protection from fumble-finger-itis. Thanks. -WK

node_load in Drupal 7

In Drupal 6, you could node_load( array( 'title' => 'node title', 'type' => 'page' ) Is there something similar in D7? It seems to force you to know the NID. I need to load by node title. This is actually for a Panel context, which is NID also, so I was going to make a new argument for Node Title. I think there is a Views Context, but I don't fully grasp that right now, so I haven't really looked into it. Suggestions? Joel Willers
