More than one add to cart buttons on a product page

Hi, Is there a way I can create multiple add to cart buttons on my product page, one for each attribute? With an attribute you have options like select, radio, checkboxes, etc, my question is what would it take to have add to cart buttons for each attribute. I would be more than happy to work on a patch for the same but I did not want to hack the core ubercart module. There are a lot of use cases for this as it is sometimes important to highlight all your attributes in a unique way. Any suggestions help will be appreciated. Cheers, Mukesh

Enabling jquery/AJAX (unknow is not a function)

Using drupal 7.16 on Mac OSX 107, bitnami install. I have created a test page with just the following : [code] <DIV ID="content"></DIV> <a href="#" onclick="$('#content').load('http://localhost/cgi-bin/cgitest.py');">Take me away</a> [/code] When I click on the rendered link, I get the following javascript error: "Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function onclick" from Chrome. Being a drupal noob but familiar with javascript issues in CGI programming, I infer that the jquery code for 'load' et al is not being sourced and that perhaps the correct module is not enabled? I have derived this from the example shown at http://drupal.org/node/305747 NOTE : I have enabled the drupal ajax examples. None can illuminate this problem for me. Drupal appache solr tika fileattachment indexing

Hi All I am trying to integrate apache solr (3.6.x), tika with Drupal 6.26. I found normal site contents (such as nodes, page types, panel types) are getting indexed. I can go to apache solr home page and serach some phrases and can see the results. Even file attachment also getting indexed but only from defined node types. For example, if I attach a file while creating content from Stoy or Page or Panel type, that file is getting indexed. *This ENSURES the integration of drupal 6.26/SOLR-3.6/TIKA is working fine.* BUT, I have a custom module and it provides a custom form to users to register their details. and attach their resumes as well. When they submit the form, I call Drupal file_save_xx api to save the file in a custom path. In this case files are not getting indexed. Has anybody tried this thing previously. I searched quite a lot but could not get any proper documentation in this regard. Any suggestions/pointers highly appreciated. Thanks Kamal NECS, Bangalore

CodeCogs Equation Editor in ckeditor

Hi all, I want to integrate CKeditor's plugin CodeCogs Equation Editor ( http://ckeditor.com/addon/equation) in CKeditor so I can insert mathematical equations. I tried to setup by following that link. but I could not get equation button in toolbar I tried with http://www.codecogs.com/latex/integration/ckeditor_v3/install.php too if anyone of you have set up it then please give me clean steps thanks in advance :) what I did is ... I downloaded the plugin from http://www.codecogs.com/latex/integration/ckeditor_v3/install.php extracted it to /var/www/drupal/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins so it look like /var/www/drupal/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/equation/ then i added the one line to config.js so now its looking as CKEDITOR.editorConfig = function( config ) { // Define changes to default configuration here. For example: // config.language = 'fr'; // config.uiColor = '#AADC6E'; config.extraPlugins = 'equation'; }; please tell where i am wrong or I i have missed ?

drupal sire is not working after migration

Hi all, I wanted to reinstall my Linux so I backup the my drupal site without clearing chache and disabling clean url and without retaining the permissions. I simply use the command in my shell (cp -r /var/www/drupal ~/DATA) and backed up databse using mysqldump now after reinstalling my OS I just copied my drupl site to same place in /var/www and I set chown www-data:www-data /var/www/drupal/sites/default/setting.php chown www-data:www-data /var/www/drupal/sites/default/files and restored mysql database properly with same name. setting.php is correct but when I am opening http://localhost/drupal its showing blank page please tell me where I am wrong? and what went wrong? is it happening because of chache and clean url? thank you

phc obfuscate / drupal 7

Dear All I compiled phc in ubuntu 10.04 lts. Next I am trying to obfusace some php code (which is part of a drupal based code). I just tried obfuscating a single file using phc. It did work. But when I am trying to access my site, I get bunch of below errors. *Notice: Undefined variable: TSa200978216 in doc_search_my_form() (line 475 of /var/www/example.com/sites/all/modules/doc_search/doc_search.module). Notice: Undefined variable: TSa1454652404 in doc_search_my_form() (line 482 of /var/www/example.com/sites/all/modules/doc_search/doc_search.module). * Mostly these are variable undefined errors. When the file is in normal mode (having normal php code), it does not throw any error. When the file is in obfuscated mode , when I access my site I get lots of variable undefined error. Any idea what's wrong here. Thanks

Drupal Content Structure for Product Reviews

I hope this question is appropriate for this list, if not please point me in the right direction. What is the "right way" to build a community-oriented comparison system in Drupal 7? My primary question is do I need to hand-roll the DB code for this or is there a way to do it with existing modules? My secondary question if you have the energy, is how would you structure this in Drupal? The entities of my site are as follows. User classes: * Administrators (me <=1) * Analysts (trusted community moderators <100) * Authenticated Users (untrusted community content creators <2000) * Anonymous site visitors can view all of the reviews (billions of people :) Products: * product classes. (e.g. Cameras, Laptops, Mobile Phones, etc). There will be >500 product classes.Analysts can edit and manage product classes by adding product feature types, etc. * products (e.g. Nikon D7000, Canon EOS Rebel, etc) are an instance of a product class.Authenticated Users can add/edit products. * product features are the pre-defined set of features of a product class (e.g. Exposure Metering, Exposure Modes, White Balance, Max Shutter Speed, etc). These are administered by Analysts. * product feature types. Each product feature must be of a certain type like a star rating, text, price, number, url, etc. My initial solution was to create a custom content-type for each product class, then use drupal fields for the product features. My concern with this approach is that I don't know how to allow semi-trustedAnalysts to create and manage their own product classes and product feature types without giving them administrator privileges. Also, I imagine having hundreds of product classes and so it feels weird to have a custom content-type for each * product class*. I'm happy to do it the php-module way, or the pointy-clicky way. You'd think in all the time I've done Drupal I'd know how to do this. I want a front page to tell people to call so-and-so to register for the site. Beyond that, anonymous users need to be blocked for everything. If I turn off the "access published content" permission, they immediately get access denied. Doesn't matter what I call it which is why I went with rather obvious somename.ab or someothername.xy I was hoping to do the same on the remote server so that I could develop a site that would not be found by searchbots and the like. The issue I had/have on the shared server is that there is no /etc/hosts. I don't know how or to what the ISP has redirected apache. Roger

import data from moveable type

I am putting together a D7 site and want to export data from moveable type. There =is= a D6 module for this, but I don't see one for D7. Does anyone have a sense of what the best way to import such data into D7 might be? The two obvious paths, both painful, seem to be either importing the data to D6 then migrating D6 to D7, or exporting MT to CSV and using the Import module? Has anyone done either of these?
