I suppose this is a kind of support matter.... I had some difficulties yesterday, trying to login to drupal.org. Concurrently I was having difficulties with my computer, absolutely nothing to do with drupal.org, but exacerbating the first and adding greatly to my frustrations - I had three browsers open, each gobblihg over 1 Gbyte of memory and the system (Debian stable, HAH!) is often sleepy after waking from its hibernation, giving me response times of tens of minutes. Drupal.org and I had different ideas about what my password is, so I followed the "forgotten password" routine. I got the link, copied it to one of the sluggardly browsers (probably iceape aka seamonkey) and got the "this site is down for maintenance" message. Later, I reloaded the page and tried to set a new password. After several iterations I still got a validation error from drupal.org. I did get a _warning_ (from the javascript) about a lack of diversity of symbols in the password, but on the basis that length is more important than diversity (and I have sufficient diversity), I don't believe that should be a problem. There are no clear guidelines about what constitutes a secure password, but _I_ reckon 16 characters comprising a mix of numeric and alphabetic characters should do the trick. This, after all, isn't a bank! And, it has more diversity of alphanumeric characters than one of my former bank password has - five lower-case letters and three digits. I have also used a similar password for a major stockbroker. I thought to use the contact form to report a problem, but there isn't one. Following the "Support" link, I found one to report "issues" to the web master. Following that, I get "Access denied You are not authorized to access this page." The summary: while (true) { I can't login because I apparently forgot my password. I can't reset my password because I only get validation errors when I try I can't report a problem through official channels because I cannot login. } Whether the problem wrt my password is resolved or not, there still remains the matter that an anonymous visitor cannot report a problem such as a broken link. First, they must register. I often report broken links, and have already reported on this morning, but there is no likelihood I would go through Drupal's registration process just to do so. I don't even do capchas, and I'm fairly reluctant to use forms either, see the contact link at http://js.id.au/register.php for my preferred way. -- John Summerfield

Workflow: Existing nodes

Hi, I am trying to implement a workflow into our site and I have the situation that there are already existing document/nodes/pages that are published but are not part of the Workflow. How do you integrate the existing published documents into the workflow? My Workflow consist of DRAFT, IN REVIEW and PLUBLISHED How do I tagged all of the existing document/nodes/pages as Workflow 'PUBLISHED'? Thanks, Néstor

populating a user reference field

Hello Guys, I have created a couple of roles employer and job seekers. The employer can create a content I called job-post and the job seekers can view these content. I have also included a user reference field in the job-post content that will hold the job seekers that will apply for the job-post. I am using D6. My questions would be: 1. How do I add a button on the node view of the job-post content so that when the job seekers view it they can apply and their record will be added on the job-post node? 2. After I have added the button how can I programatically add a record to the user reference field? I looked at panels, rules and webform it seems that these modules cannot help me. Thanks Richard

drupal 7 change page.tpl based on value in CCK

In drupal 7, I'd like to be able to change the page template if a value is returned in a CKK field. Marinelli Menu Problem

Hi, I'm designing a website using the Marinelli theme ( http://quaaoutlodge.com/drupal-7.14/). I created a menu point (The Lodge) and set it to "Show as expanded" in "Home » Administration » Structure » Menus". I also created a submenu and selected it to show as expanded as well but it does not show up.... why not? :( I have my submenu point correctly assigned the parent link. :( Thanks, any help is appreciated! Trigger + Actions

When I am configuring an action in /admin/settings/actions/configure/ I want to include the user triggering the action as part of the action's email message. How can include the username when creating an action of type "Send email to all users in a specific role(s)" I tried '$username', '%username', since they work with "Send an email..." type action, but it did not work with the "Send email to all user in a specific role(s)" . how to make this layout correctly

Hello, It gives me a great pleasure to write to this list and hope that I am posting in the right place. I am starting a new educational based project for a church that serves various places in Middle East and Africa. Website is mainly to include all educational materials (video-audio-books). There are 6 tv channels dedicated only for christian stuffs. Each channel has about 15:20 TV Shows on a daily base. Each TV show belong to a various or similar topics. In each TV Show there are two type of presenters: 1) The main presenter. 2) The guest. The main presenter could be a guest in another TV Show and the Guest could be a Main Presenter in another TV Show. So I was thinking about have the following main sections in the website: 1- TV Channel. 2- TV Shows. 3- Main Presenter / Guest. 4- Main Topic. 5- Date of broadcasting. I've already added a Vocabulary for each item listed above (I mean 5 vocabularies), then added Terms for each one: For TV Channel vocabulary I added the all 6 channels as terms: CHANNEL 1 - CHANNEL 2 ...etc For TV Shows I added about 15:20 terms for each TV Channel, like the following: - Channel 1 (main parent) -- TV Show a (child) -- TV Show b (child) -- ...etc Channel2 (main parent) -- TV Show a (child) -- TV Show (child) ...etc for the rest of Channels and TV Shows For Main Presenter / Guests I add a new Vocabulary as I mentioned above and add all of main presenters and guests as Terms. --- So far so good, my question is: How can I connect several vocabularies with several terms? I mean when I click on a name of TV Channel to list all TV Shows. I mean when I click on a TV Show to list all lectures or episodes of it. I mean when I click on the Main Presenter or Guest to list all TV Shows he/she exists in. --- Same idea apply for topics and for various parts of the website. How can I do this layout. Please help. How to Create this complex page?

Hi Group, I'm wondering if someone can get me started on what set of modules to start with to construct a page like this: I'd like the following elements on one page/view: 1. A Select List of node titles based on a taxonomy term: 2. Once a node title is selected, the corresponding node teaser is displayed under the select list, via Ajax? If possible, I don't want the page to refresh. 3. I'd like 3-4 select lists of node titles based a different taxonomy term, all on the same page with the same functionality as #2. Possible without a custom module? Thank you, Lynn
