Customizing a form with page manager

Hello, I have got a problem with customizing a form with page manager. I have the following selection rule: Title: Content exists Description: Logged in user exists My contexts are the following: 1. Node from logged in user (on node.node_author) ---- from Logged in user 2. Edit node by the logged in user ---- from Context 1 The problem: When I chose a field form "on the refrence entity" as content it is not rendered. Instead it says "Entity info." The only fields that work are those that do not have these "box icon" in front of them in the "add content" menu. The problem seems to be known: http://drupal.org/node/1197582 But the posted solution requires to hack core (if I'm not mistaken) and thus I'm wondering if there is a simpler / better solution to this problem? I am running a fresh drupal 7.14 install with everything up to date. I'm sorry if this description is a bit vague, I'm very new to drupal and thus don't really know where to look to solve my problem. Hook_views_api

Before I pull any more hair out, maybe someone has an idea. I have a module that I am adding a hook_views_api() to. It is not firing - I put a dsm() in to find out. I also tried using a module_implements() and the module is not in the list. The module is definitely enabled because other functions run fine. This is about as simple a hook as there is, so how have I messed it up? /** * Implements hook_views_api(). */ function nancy_reporting_views_api() { drupal_set_message('nancy_reporting_views_api'); return array( 'version' => '3.0', 'path' => drupal_get_path('module', 'nancy_reporting'), ); } Yes, the module is named "nancy_reporting." DB problem

I am trying to insert data into a newly created table with $result = db_insert('cc_npo_storage') ->fields(array( 'ein' => '$afields[0]', table is defined * CREATE TABLE `cc_npo_storage` ( * `ein` varchar(10) NOT NULL, The data I am inserting into field ein is ( '$afields[0]') Array[0] => 010759876 (I used the php command explode to take apart a delimited input string thus the array). Use hook_views_data for expose table to views

Hi, I have succesfully exposed my own table to views using hook_views_data(). Now i want join this table with Drupal user but using custom field. I have no idea how can i do that. I see examples but only with joining existing table fields. I need somehow expose user custom field to my view and select this field for relationship with table. Is this possible? Views performance problem..

Hi, I have an events calendar (Full Calendar) that hat to display a large number of events (0 - 40+ each day, 500-1000 on a month).. On my development server I have loaded three months worth of events (~1500 events) and the view is taking 17-25 seconds to load.. This is not good and by the time there are two years worth of events on the system its will be ridiculous. According to views the Query build time is 19.68 ms and the Query execute time is 3.5 ms so that suggests its not a problem with the database but something with the way Drupal is rendering the content.. The other issue is all the users accessing this information are authenticated and the view presented is user specific making any traditional caching, either globally or within views, ineffective.. Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks..
