content and menu access

Trying to stop pages and menu links from being displayed to anonymous users modules tried node access and content access and wile node access I can block the page itself I can not block the menu link from being displayed? I have one content type like pages that anonymous users should never see its menu links nore its pages I have another content type that is assigned per user so user joe and mike can see the page, but john and slim can not. Node access handles this ok, it is the part above where I am having problems. Any suggestions? I'd like to have a easy to use ui if I can. Thanks.

help locating module if there is one

Hi, I am looking for a way to do the following if I can: Have a way to grant access to a node by showing a user list. If checked the user has access, if not checked then the user will not be able to see the node. I'm trying to go through the module list for drupal 7, but I don't think I'm seeing any way to do this, any thoughts? Thank you

White space I cannot find and remove - help please

Sorry to ask so much for help. I can't find where the white space between the four blocks above the footer with the address comes from? It's way too much empty space and I want to remove it. The menu in the footer does not have it; the blocks don't have empty space below the content in anyone of them. I have looked for css defining "first bottom" "second bottom" etc. but can't see anything in the style sheet. I have also looked at the templates, page.tpl.php etc. but nowhere does it give me a clue. How can I remove that empty white space (I know, tautology) thanks, Pia <http://hsd.piasworld.com>

how can I display this menu inline? On one line?

I have tried everything I can to get the menu in the footer to display on one line but am unable. I cannot think straight. Could someone please point me in the right direction? thanks, Pia <http://hsd.piasworld.com>

Drupal 6 --> 7 : reducing vertical space in Panels

Hello -- We just upgraded a copy of our Drupal 6 site using the Zen / CTI-Flex theme to Drupal 7 using an AtaptiveTheme base with the Mix and Match theme. Everything went smoothly, except for how Panels behaves in the new D7 theme. We have a simple two-column center panel between two side columns (see http://www.hampton.lib.nh.us for the current D6 production site), and the D7 version of Panels creates an unacceptably huge amount of vertical white space between the panels. If I change each individual panel to "no markup", the vertical panel space shrinks, but I also lose the side and center margins of the two columns, which I would like to keep. Before I start trying to change the Panels module code, does anyone have a simple suggesting for reducing the vertical space between panels in a column? Thanks in advance ... Views (Merge Rows & Php) Modules

Hello, I use "views merge rows" module to get the unique values to design a table. In first column I use merge rows and I select "values of this field as a filter". After setting this, in other columns I want to get the value of the first column. I installed views php module but I couldn't understand how to get the value of the first column when I use merge rows module. Example;Real values;Risk | Open/Close --------------------------------Low | OpenHigh | OpenHigh | OpenHigh | CloseLow | CloseCritical | OpenLow | CloseLow | Open Designed Table Using views; Risk | Result---------------------------Low | if(low) then ..High | if(high) then ...Critical | if(critical) thenk.. Hello Ivan, If the radio buttons are labeled and highlighted in red, I guess you selected the required checkbox. (in Views -> filters -> your radio button filter -> expose filter -> Required checkbox.) Unselect this checkbox and try again. No RegreTs

Problem with pager

Hello everyone. I have a drupal site that stores a lot of products, so I need a search engine. In the search engine there are four radio buttons to selecting search options. Initially the search engine works perfectly, but when I do a search without labeling any of the four radio buttons and the search results are paginated comes trouble. The first page is displayed without problems, but when I try to access any of the following pages automatically the four radio buttons are labeled and highlighted in red, throwing an error saying: - Detected an illegal option. Please contact the site administrator. I do not know what could be the problem, until recently has been working perfectly, but after a few updates in the the core and modules, the page throw this error. Any ideas?
