AJAX in Views mystery

Hi Folks, Recently I posed a question about AJAX in a View. I have discovered the cause and I believe it is a regression. Long ago, when I thought I'd be using AJAX, I cleared "Link this field to the original piece of content" and set "Rewrite the output of this field" which gave me the opportunity to also set "Output this field as a link", Link Path and Link Class. Link Class was set to "use-ajax". When I decided that I would not need AJAX, I set "Link this field to the original piece of content" and cleared "Rewrite the output of this field", leaving Link Path and Link Class with their values intact, but presumably muted. And they remained muted until last week when I downloaded a small number of updates. One of these updates introduced this bug, and I'd like to know how I can review my update history, so I can report this regression. Chris.

Hello all. so, I have a question. I'm considering about imbedding a fraim that can be used to imbed my drupal posts onto my home page. if I needed to create a module for this, what would be the best way to make one? I have iframes module, but not sure about how to use it to imbed that type of content. If anyone can help out with this, I would be grateful. Thanks all.

I believe this is a documented bug with the Drupal core. AJAX in a view

Hi Folks, I have a content type with a taxonomy field. I have a view that lists the instances of that content grouped by taxonomy. This view has recently started misbehaving, and I need some help diagnosing what has changed. <irony> Honestly, I changed nothing! I only went through and cleaned up junk that I wasn't using any more... </irony> (-: If I display the content I have no problem. Drupal 7 public files

For years we have had /files as chmod 777 and must have apache as the group access which to my mind is dangerous. We never permit public to input images or files. Only specific people with appropriate permissions and roles can upload images and pdf documents. ckEditor and IMCE baulks if permissions and ownership are not open to everyone. Is there a way to make all the /files images and documents private, permitting only approved people input? thanks Roger

dr_ table prefixes

Hello all, I recently inherited a D7 site and in the discovery process found a slew of database tables with a "dr_" prefix. They seem redundant and I'm inclined to whack them during the clean up process, but am hesitant because I don't know what the hell they are. I thought it was Backup and Migrate or Features, but it doesn't seem to be. I've done a bit of research, but cannot, for the life of me, figure out where these entries come from. Does this sound familiar to anyone? -- Al Sessions

Module to retrieve images and store locally

Hi, Is there a module that will retrieve images on a hook_cron, then let me reference them locally like imagecache? I would also like to be able to look back over time, say post the last 10 images grabbed at 15 minute intervals during special events like sunspot eruptions. I wan to load some images from noaa.gov and nasa.gov on a regular basis and store them locally. These aren't copyrighted, but the topical ones are constantly updated and disappear if not stored locally. Thanks. -- -Don Pickerel- Fane Software

Views Error After Upgrading

I upgraded from Drupal 6 to 7 and updated Views too. I get this error now when trying to edit existing views I get I get PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function is_defaulted() on a non-object in /var/www/site/sites/all/modules/views/includes/handlers.inc on line 219.
