Sorting nodes

Hi to all, Here http://iowalincolnhighway.org/Attractions you can see that the Attractions page is a just basic page, with some listed attractions. Now I have to create new content type, with attraction name, description, image, address, county, google map and/or long/lat coordinates. I know how to create new content type. I just wonder how to sort the nodes? Ideally, it would be sorting by long/lat coordinates from east to west but I’m assuming it’s hard? The most easiest and the fastest way would be by adding “order” field (integer) and manually sort it by the order. Though, it could be PITA to reorder once I have almost hundred nodes… :( Any suggestions? Thanks

Base table or view not found

*I keep getting the error below every time I edit a certain content type. I have tried Uninstalling / reinstalling the taxonomy image module but it's not fixing the issue. Extra Fields Problem

I'm using hook_field_extra_fields() to add some buttons to a node. If there is more than one button, I want to enclose them in a wrapper for theme placement. So far, I'm drawing a blank on how to do this.

Lightbox2 and image field

Hi all, I want to use Lightbox2 on an image field in a content type. I have done this before, but for the life of me can't get it running again. :-( I'm using D7 and Lightbox2. I have added an image field to a content type. In the site I configured before I could set the Format of the image to use Lightbox2 with a specific size. Now I can't get this formatter activated. Anybody know how to get this running? Thanks Bert

Problems with 7.29 update

Hello I have just updated to Drupal 7.30 and the site seems faster than 7.29. I note that there are now 16 files I cannot explain in public_html directory Names like core.338850, they are unreadable files. What are these, what do they mean, can they be deleted, each is 16.5mb and a new one arrives when Drupal fails which it has done many times in 3 hours this evening. It takes 2 minutes to open views, 50 seconds to save a change. Cannot open modules list I get WSOD Drush from a terminal displays a huge list of stuff I do not understand. Help gratefully appreciated Roger

Reversing field value and label

I have a case where I need the field value to be displayed to the left of the label when viewing the node. I have tried all kinds of CSS magic, but not succeeded. Does anyone have any idea?

token in code field in Display suite

Hi all, I need to change the title of a node depending on the value of the field field_project_type. I created a "PHP code" code field in display suite and added the following code: <?php if ([node:field_project_type] == 'Project') { ?> Project [node:title] <?php } else { ?> [node:title] <?php } ?> However, I get the following error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ':', expecting ']' in /var/www/wallfish/modules/php/php.module(80) : eval()'d code on line 1 What am I doing wrong? I can't find any correct way to get the value of that field through a token. Thanks. Bert

issues with Drupal 7

Hello I updated to Drupal 7.28 and am having quite some problems but am uncertain that Drupal is all of the cause. Using the site as admin, all functions take minutes to do. Just to change over from home to views takes 7 minutes. Create a simple view takes 20 minutes waiting for each change to finish. Deleting a view takes 3-5 minutes if it doesn't time out before hand. I ran drush cc views I ran drush cc all None of which helped. I wanted to switch off pathauto and token, so memory ravenous it has killed sites but Drupal goes to WSOD. Check your MySql max-packet-size. The default is 1M, and that is no where near big enough for Views - try 32 MB. From: Roger <arelem(a)bigpond.com> Turns out that the caches were full and for some reason this produced the errors we experienced. Turns out the data seems to not be affected but the views were producing errors. As recommended I did a drush cc all from a terminal and the problems seem to have gone. Thanks Roger
