Google Analytics Module with subdomains

I have a main domain, www.site.edu and 85 subdomains (intranet.site.edu, faculty.site.edu, etc.). I am tracking the main domain and all subdomains on one report in GA using a single Web Property ID (UA-123456789-1) For the main domain, I set the the Google Analytics module as follows: Web Property ID: UA-123456789-1 What domains are you tracking? One domain with multiple sub-domains. In the Advanced Settings/Javascript snippets, I added the following in the Code Snippet (before) box: var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-123456789-1']); _gaq.push(['_setDomainName', '.site.edu']); For the sub-domains, I set the Google Analytics module as follows: Web Property ID: UA-123456789-1 What domains are you tracking? A single domain. In the Advanced Settings/Javascript snippets, I added the following in the Code Snippet (before) box, per info obtained on the Google Analytics help pages: var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-123456789-1']); _gaq.push(['_setDomainName', '.site.edu']); This all seems to work ok, except the following problem: on my GA Top Content report, I cannot tell where the hits came from. Example: my 24th highest entry is listed as \program. That node appears on many of my subdomains. Is it aggregating every instance of \program across 85 subdomains into one metric? If you click on it in the report, it gives a 404 error. If I go to the Content by Title view, it's a little better because I can see the names of the pages. I am wondering if I have everything set up correctly. If you are whiz at GA/Drupal and can tell if my settings are wrong, please let me know! Hi, I remember that some error page on the following webpage reveals that it is built on drupal (I can't find the URL anymore). If my memory is correct, I'm wondering what part is handled by drupal how the other parts are built on drupal. I understand the managing of user profiles and let users leave comments, etc., are offered by drupal. But what about the flash for drawing the RNA structures. gmap pointers based on CCK values

Is it possible to display different pointers on a gmap based on a value within a CCK field? I've seen it done with taxonomy but not with values in a cck. I built a gmap using views. Each node has a location and a value of 1 - 10 stored in a CCK field. I'd like to display a map with all the nodes; each pointer would have a color based on the value of the CCK Field (1-10). Example: all nodes coded with 1 = red pointer; all nodes with the value of 2 = orange pointer; 3 = yellow pointer, etc. Is this possible? Thanks, Tracey

Drupal7 should send notification about updates

Dear list, I have now some time a drupal 7.10 installation running. Some modules are outdated, but I got no notification from the system that there are updates available. Under /#overlay=admin/reports/updates/settings I filled my email address, selected daily check and send for all versions. Under reports I see that the cron process was execute 1 hour 17 minutes ago, so I think with the cron process is everything fine. Is this a bug in drupal7 or must I setup some more options? Just want to have a node with a video. Where do files listed in *.info get loaded

I'm sure this question has been asked, but I can't seem to phrase my Google query to find it. Where do the files listed in a module's .info file get loaded in Drupal 7? The list gets written into the 'system' table's 'info' field; but I can't figure out when/where list gets pulled and the files get loaded. Thanks for your time.

title field

hello I created a content type. the title comes by default but I want to either remove it and create another one of type list or change the field type of field. I installed module autonode but it did not help or perhaps did not know how to use it. In fact, I want to force the users to set specific titles only. thanks for letting me know how to either remove the title or replace its type. Best, GG

modifying internal link URLs

Hello all, I am trying to setup a drupal website dump that I was given on my local machine. I was able to do it but the internal links don't take the root folder name. For eg: Let the name of the root folder in the dump be xyz. All the internal links (since they are relative paths) have URLs such as xyz/faq, xyz/issues. On my local machine, I renamed the root folder to pqr. Now, shouldn't the internal links point to URLs such as pqr/faq and pqr/issues? This doesn't happen, unless I explicitly type the link the address bar of the browser. I also tried keeping the same folder name i.e. xyz on my local machine. Even then the same problem exists, it cannot find the page when I click on any internal link. Please let me know on how I can solve this. I am using version 6.22 Thank you.
