Slideshow Creator module

Hi All, Where should I ask questions about modules? I'm just getting into Drupal and am confused about where to get help. I have a specific question about the Slideshow Creator (I have to click twice on prev/next to get the slide to advance) but I'm not sure if this is a Drupal question, Slideshow Creator question, jquery question, etc... Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Views repeating dates

Hi I'm using Drupal 7.9 with latest module updates I have a content type 'Repeating Events' which has repeating dates for the year. Try as I might I cannot get Views to show dates within a range of 10 days from now or today or similar. I have cleared caches with both drush and from <Configuration><Performance> Content-Dates has Short Date, Multiple values set to 1 No sort Criteria It seems that the dates criteria do not reset Views shows only the start date from the database I've run out of ideas on where to look. Has anyone run into this and found a fix please Cheers Roger

Twitter module

I have installed the *Twitter module together with oath ( http://drupal.org/project/twitter and http://drupal.org/node/476824).* I also went to dev.twitter.com and registered the application, generating: consumer key and consumer secret -as requested by the Twitter set up. It never asked for a user name and passwd, just the consumer key and consumer secret. Ajax error message

I'm using Drupal 7 fresh install with latest module updates, no additional themes. I started getting error messages from the server yesterday and Drupal is now painfully slow, 5-10 minutes to save a cck field or change a field in a view or alter a field in the database. The server is not overloaded 0.2%, Bigpond seems to be running ok traceroute shown nothing of any note to worry about. I'm using ubuntu and fedora 14 pc's Firefox and epiphany both slow. There are no suspicious <Reports><Recent Log Messages> No <Status> faults What should I be looking for and fixing? Just now I got this Javascript error message and would like to ask for some info on the "Internal Server Error" part of the message, got me tossed... No content types?

I'm clicking on "Add content" in the automatically created User menu. An overlay comes up and says "You have not created any content types yet. Go to the content type creation page<http://localhost/vcepp/admin/structure/types/add> to add a new content type." I do have two content types. If I add "resource" to the end of that URL (node/add), it will go to the correct form and allow me to create the Resource. Why should I get this message rather than the list of content types? Navigation Feature

Drupal7 behind Apache reverse proxy

Gents, Sending a followup to the previous question... ( http://lists.drupal.org/pipermail/support/2011-April/017586.html) If a main site is http://mainsite.com, and a subsection of it needs to be drupal... then ProxyPass /drupalsite http://mydrupal.com ProxyPassReverse /drupalsite http://mydrupal.com Things break completely... since the URLs drupal seems to be generating are not aware of the new /drupalsite/ addition. So, after doing some research online, and another article here: http://groups.drupal.org/node/5242, it seems 2 things need to be modified: 1.) $base_url needs to read $base_url = 'http://mainsite' 2.) .htaccess file needs to reflect the /drupalsite... ie RewriteBase /drupalsite Now, should the $base_url reflect the mainsite.com or the mydrupal.comwhere drupal is installed? A bit lost here guys, if someone could help, that would be awesome. At the end of the day, the drupal site should be masked behind the http://mysite.com/drupalsite URL structure. Best, V

Malware notice on chrome.

I have a drupal site but when I open it on google chrome I get the message below www.sitename.com contains content from www.cvtech.com.au, a site known to distribute malware. Your computer might catch a virus if you visit this site. Google has found malicious software may be installed onto your computer if you proceed. If you've visited this site in the past or you trust this site, it's possible that it has just recently been compromised by a hacker. You should not proceed, and perhaps try again tomorrow or go somewhere else. I don't know of any content from this site. Newbie gallery question

Hi, I would like to give users login access to upload pictures and have them displayed with thumbnails, and maybe a slide show. Loading the whole of gallery seems overkill to me. Also, how do I limit users somewhere between regular and administrator? Thanks, Alex

newbie search issue

Hi, I've got a fresh Ubuntu 10.4 install with drupal 7.9. I have enabled search in the default theme, Bartik, and put in one basic page and run cron. When I am logged in as administrator the search window I expect shows up on the left top just as I expect and works fine. When I am logged in as a non-admin user I get no search, i.e., search is not visible as an option. Likewise when I am not logged in. I want people to be able to search for the site's content easily and would ideally like, in order: to have every site visitor be able to search without necessarily being logged in or at least to have the logged in non-admin user be able to search I've been over the settings and have the feeling I'm missing something obvious, but it clearly isn't obvious enough. Suggestions? stuff to read? will RTFM in a pinch....
