Use only one 'Sticky at top of lists'

Do you guys know any module which makes drupal to allow only one node with the option 'Sticky at top of lists'? My client needs to have only one sticky node, if there is already another node with sticky option selected when adding new node, previous nodes 'sticky' option should become disabled. If there's no such module or easy way, I've got to make one which takes longer. Block translation

Hi list, I use Drupal 6.20 and Internationalization 6.x-1.7. How can I translate some words in a block. I can translate all the blocks but I have a lot of code and it's not cool to maintening that. There is a solution to translate only some words. I try t() function but it doesn't works in block, strange not ? Thanks in advance.

Drupal 7. Memory error, other questions.

Hi Jorge It's great that you are learning Drupal, Welcome. Do not worry about the messages that say some modules are now in core. If you knew earlier versions it may be of interest but starting with Drupal 7 it does not matter. Drupal 7 has many modules but is waiting for some of the more popular modules to be converted from Drupal 6, it's very functional but not complete. I leave it to others to discus relevant modules and memory. I'm building a site with 32 pages of Cyrillic text and images but there will be no visitor input. It's using Marinelli with the borders and header switched off and the background a light blue/grey I chose this because it has the menus on the right. For me menus are of low importance in this instance. As for themes maybe you can start with Garland or Bartik,you can chage the colours or remove them, later you can move to another theme. I do all my building on Bartik for D7 then change to another theme if I need a different look and feel. Stark 7.0 is a clean no frills theme. Good luck Roger

text_format, what column to save the format ?

Hi, I am developing my own field type. It is using a text_format type textarea: $element['content'] = array( '#type' => 'text_format', '#title' => t('Tab Content'), '#default_value' => isset($items[$delta]['content_value']) ? $items[$delta]['content_value'] : NULL, '#format' => isset($edit['format']) ? $edit['format'] : NULL, ); So far so good. This makes a WYSIWYG editor appear. Now when I try to save a node with this field, it gives me an error that the column and value count do not match. After examining the error, I see that the query expects a field to store the selected format in. So I changed my schema to include the format, but then it just adds another value (empty) for that field, and still one value extra for the format. Still the same error. My schema hook looks like this: $schema['columns']['content'] = array( 'type' => 'text', 'not null' => FALSE, ); $schema['columns']['format'] = array( 'type' => 'varchar', 'length' => '255', 'not null' => FALSE, ); $schema['indexes'] = array( 'name' => array('name'), 'format' => array('format'), ); $schema['foreign keys']['format'] = array( 'table' => 'filter_format', 'columns' => array('format' => 'format'), ); But it's still not working, still the same error.. So how can I say drupal which field it should use to save the format of type 'content' in? I'm really stuck here, and google isn't giving me the information I was hoping for.. I believe it is using media module http://drupal.org/project/media Thanks Sivaji. Downloaded but it requires something called File_styles which I cannot find in drupal.org/projects. Does anyone know where that can be obtained. Thanks Roger

Picture Gallery in Drupal 7

I would like to let users make a picture gallery in Drupal 7. I have the gallery formatter and colorbox modules loaded, but can't figure out how to use it to make a gallery content type that users can use to create their own galleries. I followed this: Installation: 1. Extract Colorbox library <https://github.com/downloads/jackmoore/colorbox/colorbox.zip> in your sites/all/libraries/ folder 2. Install Gallery Formatter <http://drupal.org/project/galleryformatter> and Colorbox <http://drupal.org/project/colorbox> Drupal 7 modules 3. Create a new content type, or add a new field to an existing content type * Select 'Field' as 'Image' * Select 'Widget' as 'Image' 4. Apply primary settings as required: Public or Private files, and a default image if necessary - click "Save field settings" 5. Apply secondary settings as required: most of these can be left blank without consequence. Change the "Number of values" dropdown from '1' to 'unlimited' for good luck. 6. Click on the "Manage Display" tab near the page top, and next to your new field change the 'Image' format to 'jQuery Gallery' 7. Click on the right-side gear to change Gallery Formatter settings - select 'Colorbox' from the 'User jQuery modal for full image link' box near the bottom - click 'Update' 8. Save the content type, and make some galleries. But it is the last step that does not work for me. In your input formats, filters settings, you need to check "Converts Media tags to Markup" option. I've checked drupal 6 and 7 and cannot find this option? Where is it please? Roger

Hi, The installation of Ctools failed giving the following error: -------------- * Error installing / updating * File Transfer failed, reason: Cannot create directory /Program Files/EasyPHP-5.3.6.0/www/drup7/sites/all/modules/ctools/ctools_ajax_sample/js. -------------- Any suggestions?
