Deployment of translations from QA to Production?

How would you suggest a good process to test translations on in a QA environment, and then deploy them to a production environment after testing? * Best practices? * Deploy/Services modules? * Node export/import? * Translate interface export/import? * Freeze production, work in QA, then move the DB over to production? * Other? Negative Context Condition

Hello, Is the a way to add a negative context condition? I have a context to display a few block according to node type : x,y,z I'd like to create another context to display blocks a,b on every page that x,y,z aren't displayed on. Any idea how I can do this, my idea was to simply create the same conditions but negative, but I don't see the option. I can create a site wide context for a,b but then it displayays together with the x,y,z blocks. Any ideas? Thanks Idan

user_autocomplete and privacy

I'm writing a module that should hide user existence according to their privacy settings. I've been able to hide names (overriding phptemplate_username) and users profiles (404 with hook_user view). That's far from clean but at least it works. Is D7 any better in this area? But I'm out of reasonably clean hack to hide users existence in user_autocomplete. Everything is guarded by a user_access, 'access user profiles' and I can't see any other way than hacking core. -- Ivan Sergio Borgonovo http://www.webthatworks.it

Goldencan Error

Hello, I use Goldencan Version 2 PHP scripts so that I have online affiliate "stores". There has been a problem for a long time that I associated with shared hosting. Now that I'm on a dedicated host it's reared it's ugly head again - still. This error does not happen if a human accesses the page. For people and all types of browsers there are no problem and for other spiders! Time of day doesn't matter either - it's just GoogleBot that seems to generate this error and it's always the same error, just a different "store" section that creates it. >From the Drupal log: readfile( http://si.goldencan.com/GetData.aspx?ver=2.0&SID=removed&Host=www.m…) [<a href='function.readfile'>function.readfile</a>]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! in /includes/common.inc(1497) : eval()'d code on line 12. Hi, the following is my first question in this mailing list. I have a Webform at my website http://www.mothsoftware.com/drupalmoth/content/send-mail-moth-software , which works okay. But now I want to sent a mail with this form from my application Mail Archiver and can't get it to work. The fields I have identified are submitted[email_address] submitted[name] submitted[type_of_question] submitted[description] Submit But the action seems not okay with http://www.mothsoftware.com/drupalmoth/content/send-mail-moth-software The result is absolutely nothing. Does anyone have an idea why this is the case? My php is pretty thin. Imagecache stopped working

I recently started hosting on rackspace.com. I used their testing url to set up the site, imagecache worked fine. When I transferred the domain over imagecache stopped working. - Folder permissions are wide open - No errors in drupal or php logs - temp folder set up and permissions wide open - cache cleared - Imagecache flushed I am not sure what else to check. Is the old testing domain stored somewhere on the site? Eric

Exposed Filters Question

I have a site with latest CCK and Views code and I want to show a list of taxonomy terms as a dropdown in an exposed filter, but I don't have any option in my add filters list to do that. I am certain this was (at least once) available. Is it still and I'm just lost or is this no longer an option? Thanks.

Google Maps Tools problem in view, but ok in edit

Hi all, I have a content type with Google Maps Tools <http://drupal.org/project/gmaps> cck field. When I edit one of this content type node I can set a marker, but when I see the node page I see a rectangular box of 50px height and not in my marker area. If I edit the node I see the correct portion of the map. Where is my error ? I'm using Acqua marina theme, but with Garland there is the same error. Complicated needs with Views need help

Drupal 616 I have a pretty complicated needs to solve, and scratching my head for a week. I have been using Drupal for quite sometime, but don't have much dev/PHP skills. Being a band leader, I must have my registered members: musicians to download music before next show, I had a private node with static HTML table where PDFs, sound clips and video clips are available. Since I constantly recompose music, the version control has been pain in a neck so I created a new node type. Note that all the media files are stored at my Mac.com server outside of Drupal for better performance. This new node type has fields for PDF music files Audio group Node reference to local audio sample nodes Link field to remote MP3 files Video group Node reference to local video sample nodes Link field to remote FLV and m4v files Embedded field to YouTube The taxonomy is also somewhat complexed Style vocabulary terms many different styles such as jazz, blues, afõxe, bião, etc.. Tempo vocabulary terms very fast, slow, etc.. Difficulty vocabulary terms difficulty levels in detail, i.e., notes reading, etc Unlike static HTML table I used to have, the flexibility of sorting by exposed filters and version control are superb as expected, but field management became nightmare. I need to keep in table-View so my musicians can get needed info without going into each nodes. First of all, the table width is now ridiculous. There are 2 field holders for audio where the actual entry is only 1 or less, and there are 3 fields holders for video where the actual entry is, again, only 1 or less. I need to subgroup by selected, but not all of styles tems. For example, I need to separate one style, Christmas as a independent table on the same page. Is it possible? I want the link to the external files such as MP3, FLV, and YouTube to be a Thickbox/Colorbox from the Table View so my musicians don't need to leave this page. Right now, MP3 link opens another browser window (which isn't that bad but embedded FLV player would be much better), and YouTube link leaves my site, which is bad. I hear FileField with JQuery Media should work with Thickbox/Colorbox, but my problem is that they won't work with external files.
