drush archive-dump selected directories

FYI: I am new to drupal, drush and PHP but am an experienced programmer in other areas. Am familiar and comfortable with the command line. I use drush on both Linux and Mac. I have a drupal site to archive, but there are many directories under the filesystem root which are not part of the site. NOTE: This has happened because I use Hostmonster and add-on domains are "added on" under the site root. I know that archive-dump has an exclude option and I could chain a couple of dozen 'excludes' but that's not nearly as 'elegant' as chaining seven 'includes' - which would be includes, misc, modules, profiles, scripts, sites, themes Any ideas? thanks -- Tim tim at tee jay forty nine dot com or akwebsoft dot com http://www.akwebsoft.com, http://www.tj49.com

Shared User tables through the sites

Hi all, I am using drupal 7. I have to develop 2 or more sites who can use same users information to logged in to different websites. Once we update user information in one of the site it will applies to all other sites. My structure should be as follows: 1. Main site where users available 2. 2nd site can shared user table and logged in with same credentials of 1. 3. 3rd site can shared user table and logged in with same credentials of 1. 4. So on. As my requirement is not for sites who will come in same domain they have different domain so some modules have restriction on two different domain. Like Bakery <https://drupal.org/project/bakery>, SSO<https://drupal.org/project/sso> [ not for drupal 7], so on.. Do some have to know any related module? I read lots of forums and link like, https://drupal.org/node/22267 - Worried about sharing table. Any suggestion on my query. Thanks in advance -- Swatee Amit Karpe

Each of those domains will be pulling files that should only have the core files and their site files, but not the other site files.* If you have virtual hosts going on, you can point all of your domains to you main source folder. It's a mix of that and .htaccess mod-rewrite but the first step is making sure your hosting situation is right. For myself I have a handful of sites, different tld's all sharing one source. But DNS is a whole other issue. You need to make sure that is all correct too. Custom text on registration page

On the account registration page I want to add some custom text to inform new users about some things. I have tried finding a module which does this but I've had no luck. I have just created a forum with drupal using the advanced forum module. I am wondering if there is a way to have a different default path than /node/number/ for forum posts. Forum posts are too similar to blog posts and pages, which is a problem because I want certain blocks not to display when someone is reading forum content. Changing the footer" powered by drupal."

Hi all. I’m trying to change the block/footer that says, “powered by Drupal.” how ever, when I go to try to change it, it doesn’t give me the body edit field to change it. so, how else, can I do this? Thanks all.
