Using mysql queries in Views

I need a proper download counter but the 2-3 that exist are not up to scratch so I decided to make my own SQL queries for each node page, showing some download stats. I then had the idea of creating a view on each user's account page showing the number of downloads their content had produced. Again, I have the SQL query all ready but wanted to somehow incorporate it into a view. Is there any way of doing that? Can I create what would be essentially an "empty" field, then populate it with what my sql query returns?? I'm a little nervous of using sql queries raw on my template files. what would be the best way of implementing something like this? Regards Neil

ubcart google checkout throwing ERROR

Drupal view specific to nodes references

Hello, I have created a page and enabled the comments on that page I want to show only comments posted on that page in the block which will be on right side bar. Means if user goes to a page then he will able to see the comments posted on that page only. No other comments should be displayed in the block. Automatic creation of a screenshot of an uploaded pdf/doc/ppt

I'm trying to add funtionality to my site whereby when a user uploads a doc/pdf, on hitting submit, an image is attached which is a screenshot of the file's first page. Is there any type of module that could offer what I'm looking for? Neil

Moving markers in the GMap module

How do you take programmatic control of the markers with the GMap module? Do I have to dig into the JavaScript? Or is there a hook into the macros? I looked at the .ini files in the modules/gmap/markers directory; but it's not obvious to me where to put a hook. Ideally, I'd like to do 2 things: 1) feed marker location from fields on another drupal node to the gmap and 2) pull lat/long from a web service on another server so that the marker moves while I'm looking at it. Ubercart Issue

Hi all: I have a site in which I offer some products and I use Ubercart (Drupal 6). I'll present an example to show my need... All products have a price, for example the product A costs 1 dollar, so, this price is for unit but if the client buy 10 units of the same product then the costs would be 9 dollars per unit... How can I set up the price of a product basing in the quantity purchased by the client? thanks in advance. Views Title

I have a view that is made up of a collection of document nodes that have a node reference to a container that is a central topic with content. My developer and I have the content presented properly but right now we use NID as the linking property and the argument that holds it all together. I want the title of the view to be the title of the container node. Any thoughts on how to do this. I hope this makes sense and that someone can help because I have spent quite some time looking for a solution and trying to build one with Views. Clear cache on update
